With the way its being handled lately. Sick people flown back to the states, sick nurses getting on commercial flights I'm quite worried now. Originally just brushed it off as being as bad as it was due to affecting people in places with less than great healthcare but its getting pretty serious globally now. Some better quarantine protocols should be in place.

I was just reading up on this earlier today, and yes, I am pressed. Especially now that a second nurse who cared for patient zero has contracted the disease. They keep talmbout how Ebola is a 'dumb virus' and isn't airborne, yet it's spread to two nurses who were caring for the man. If it can only be contracted through bodily fluids, then how did they catch it? I'm sure they followed protocol. And why was he only being treated in some Texas hospital by people who aren't specially trained for this sort of thing? More should have been done, and more still needs to be done. I just hope they can figure out a way to contain it before things get even more out of hand, because what they're doing now clearly isn't working. We're so lucky this hasn't become drastically bigger than it already is - yet.  |

Emergency measures were taken at Madrid airport today after a plane travelling from France to Spain had someone on board who developed Ebola-like symptons. It's getting nearer.  |

That nurse with ebola came here to visit. Nobody in the state contracted ebola, because we're not Texas.
