A 14-year-old boy, with a history of running away to abandoned properties, decided to live inside a Texas Walmart instead of staying with some relatives.
Employees at the store in Corsicana were shocked to discover the child in their store on July 30, police said in a statement issued Wednesday.
He was discovered 54 hours after he ran away from home. He built secret makeshift lairs behind rolls of toilet paper, constantly changed his clothes and wore diapers to avoid being seen running to the bathroom, reports TV Station CBS 11 in Dallas and Fort Worth. Save money. Live better. But who was on camera watching duty tho?

They must have smelled his diapers.

Toilet paper fort? Doesn't Wal-Mart have a bedding department?
Personally I'd have gone to toys and built it out of Legos.

But who was on camera watching duty tho? I never really considered that as an option, but that would be an amazing job. The shit I've seen just making a quick run into the store is amazing. Watching it all day long would be like every bad movie I've ever seen all rolled into one. The pay is probably shit and I'll have to prostitute on the side, but it'll be worth it.

I don't know. It must be like marathoning Duck Dynasty, Honey Boo Boo and TruTV all in one. I couldn't take.

I can sympathise with the Walmart people. I was working security somewhere a few years ago and didn't notice that the caterers for one of the places in the complex were sleeping in cars literally right behind the little building I was in. The cops came round at like 3am and chapped my door, saying they saw/heard movement and asked if they could take a look. I was like, "sure, I'm the only person here." Then we went to look and found them. At first I thought they were drug dealers or something until they explained and proved who they were. It was so awkward having to explain to the cops how there could have been people like 30ft away from me all night and I hadn't noticed. One of the cameras was pointing right at the cars too and I still didn't see them.
