The big stories over the last few months has been the money situation in TNA and all of the names the company has let go because of cost cutting. Last week, there were major concerns (more than before) about money. This time the big issue was with TNA's production crew.

People in TNA's production were upset about the company being behind with paychecks. The crew basically threatened to walk out of last week's tapings if the company did not catch up on their pay. TNA management reacted quickly and made sure checks were issued so things seem to be ok for now. Things were very tense last week at the tapings and as noted, the money issues in TNA are a big issue right now and money is tighter than it's ever been.

This would be great timing tbh cause now that Jeff Jarrett is starting up a new company, anyone who doesn't get picked up by WWE could just go there. TNA needs to just pull the plug already. I feel sorry for their roster.

Hopefully, I tried watching it the other day and just no...they had a circus act and some jersey shore guys in the ring seeing who had the loudest horn, that was enough for me. Just end TNA already, its gotten beyond bad.

TNA Tries to Reveal the First Match at Slammiversary

They didn't get enough interest though...

TNA attempted to drum up excitement for tonight's Slammiversary on social media but came up short. The promotion posted the following to their Twitter account a little before 6 PM ET:

#Slammiversary starts at 8/7c on PPV! Want to know the first match of the night? 500 RTs and we'll tell you! GO!

The tweet has since been deleted. Per PWInsider, they stalled out at in the low two hundreds and at the time of the message's deletion they had 248 retweets.

They're being sued for money they don't have that they owe Eric Bischoff.

There is a report going around (originally from Voices of Wrestling) which says that Dixie Carter accidentally cc’d a top Destination America executive in on an email complaining about the Network. This story has been going around internally and no one in TNA has outright denied this happened. A source in the company did say that relations between the two sides became strained. Destination America representatives are not returning requests for comment.

Please let this be true. That is hilarious.

TNA has a PPV scheduled for this Sunday but as of now they don't have enough funds to even stage the show. WWE is apparently interested in buying them, probably just for the tape library.

They'll probably somehow survive like they always do but I low-key wouldn't be mad if WWE bought them. I want my boy Drew to be free of his TNA contract so there's a chance of him returning at the Glasgow RAW. We'd probably give him a reaction like it was The Rock returning.

TNA's ownership saga has taken another turn.

Billy Corgan filed a lawsuit against the company and some of its key players in Chancery Court in Nashville, TN, on Wednesday. The defendants listed in the suit are TNA Entertainment, their parent company Impact Ventures, Dixie Carter, her husband Serg Salinas, and TNA Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer Dean Broadhead.

A temporary restraining order was issued, and a temporary injunction is set to be heard on Thursday, October 20th. All filings in the suit were placed under seal until further notice.

Further details of the lawsuit are not yet known at this time.

The saga of TNA’s ownership situation has played out both publicly and behind the scenes in recent weeks. Corgan made his intent to buy the company known in interviews across multiple media outlets prior to Bound for Glory, but the show came and went without a sale.

Dave Meltzer has chronicled the subject in exhaustive detail in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter in recent weeks. Meltzer reported in this week’s issue that both Corgan and Aroluxe Marketing were still attempting to buy the company, but Aroluxe was most likely to get it at that point.

Meltzer also reported that things were “super heated” behind the scenes with Carter, Corgan, and Aroluxe.

It was announced in August that Corgan had taken over as president of TNA, while Carter assumed the role of company chairman.
