I'm so excited for the classic Lara skins and the throwback TR3 outfit. Initially I was so mad we had to wait for this, but we're getting so much extra content I feel like it was worth it.

I don't like how closely that girl in the game you have a standoff with resembles Lara. They could've at least given her a crossbow or something, lol. But speaking of the bow, it's cool and all, but I'm close to unlocking the pistol and that I'm excited about. It's funny because I get stressed out when I'm trying to stealth and quietly pick a group of men off with the bow without them noticing, and then all of a sudden one of them shouts, "Man down!" and I'm like:  Yet if I have the rifle or something I'll just go in guns blazing and take them all on lol. The bear and the wolves terrify me, though. And actually I think there's at least one other bear fight later in the game. |

I just finished it.
I loved the Tomb Raider series when I was a kid but I ended up losing interest because I thought the post 2000 games weren't as good as the originals. These last two have been amazing though and got me right back into it.

The lore behind these last two games have been absolutely amazing. It is such a solid formula to stick with and I hope there explore other mythologies.

I just beat it, too. Holy crap, the last two or so hours of this game were so frustrating. I used up so much ammo on the Deathless and half of them wouldn't even drop ammo, and then when they would, as SOON as I was done battling them it would go to a cut scene and I wouldn't be able to go back and pick up the all the ammo! I was literally cussing Lara out. The whole time I was praying for another sequence where you just steer Lara forward while everything collapses around you, just to get out of there. And the final "boss fight," omg. I could not find a second can to save my life. I had to circle around three times before finding another one. But speaking of that, Did you guys kill him? I did. With the pistol. I wanted to here what zinger she had for him after she did it. I was gonna shoot Ana too, if given the chance.
I was gonna be so upset if they killed Jonah, too. During that part where you see him being interrogated, I thought she was gonna see him be shot and not be able to do anything about it. And these new games really are great. I loved that they gave us choices for guns, and outfit options this time. But next time CHILL with all the predators. The snow leopard was absolutely ridiculous, and it dodged. Having said that though, I do kinda wanna face one of the bears in the Geothermal Valley and see how easy they are to take down using the shotgun or the rifle, and not just the makeshift bow. Burke or Astro, one of you should do that and let me know how it goes. Also speaking of the rifle, I saved up enough coins to buy the military rifle from the remnant merchant, and it wasn't even as good as the default rifle. -__- I was so pissed. I should've bought the laser sight for it instead. |

I haven't beat it yet, but I can tell you it's a lot harder to kill the predators with a rifle or shotgun. In fact I think they died faster when I used the bow, mind you I used the poison attachment which helped a great deal. It stuns them and gives you an opportunity to get a couple of clear shots.

wait were there different sequences for killing him? She ended up sticking an arrow through his neck when I decided to kill him. |
