A rapper affiliated with Wu-Tang Clan has cut off own penis in an alleged suicide attempt.
TMZ reports that Andre Johnson, cut off his penis and then jumped from a second floor balcony in the early hours of Wednesday morning (April 16) in North Hollywood, California. He was found in a critical state on the pavement and was rushed to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center hospital.
CNN reports that Johnson - otherwise known as Christ Bearer - was a member of the hip hop group Northstar of Long Beach, California. Members of the group, who live in the same building as Johnson told TMZ that they say they weren't on "any hard drugs that would cause him to do such a thing". They add that Johnson's detached penis was transported to the hospital with him. It's unclear if doctor's are attempting to reattach Johnson's penis.
