Thoughts on the 4 hour Hall of Fame  LITA:Cute speech and I was happy for her. She was having fun. But Jesus she talked for 40 minutes. They had technical problems so that's why the fans were booing but she didn't know that so it was a little annoying and disrespectful. Trish's speech was nice too. JAKE "THE SNAKE" ROBERTS:Holy Emotion Batman. That shit got REAL. I almost started tearing up, not even gonna lie. Best speech of the night, and DDP's introduction was great. MR. T:Fuck this guy. Seriously. First he denied Piper his request to induct him. Then when Mean Gene did, he didn't even introduce him. They sent "T Junior" out there on his steroids to introduce his dad. Mr T said "rasslin" one time, and then talked about his mother and quoted the bible for 30 minutes until Kane finally came out to kick him off the stage. The crowd started trolling him with the what chant and a sarcastic "this is awesome" chant but he kept going thinking it was going great. He never said thank you or mentioned a single thing about wrestling. Piper said on a Legend Roundtable that T was selfish and didn't give a damn about the business, and it totally showed. And Piper looked pissed the fuck off. Fuck Mr T, he's getting booed at Mania. Trust. If he get's cheered, it's sarcastic. PAUL BEARER:Nice speech from Kane. Paul's clone of a son, and his slob of a brother came out while the nice son gave a speech and a creepy perfect "oohh yeess" then Taker came out and rose the urn into the air. It was short and fitting. Wish Paul had been there to tell a story or two :\   RAZOR RAMON:I went to make a smoothie. Listen, Lita and Mr T were hard to sit through okay I needed a damn break. CARLOS CALON:Carlito was funny and Primo gave a nice speech. King called Epico their brother. Wonder why Fernando and Diego weren't at the hall of fame. I've always wanted to see them without their masks. Anywho, refilled my smoothie for Carlos' speech. ULTIMATE WARRIOR:Good speech. There were a few times where he got a little too close to real and I was just like..  .. but he never went too far. Nice speech. Kinda long. Addressed some dirty laundry on air, but sounded appreciative at the same time. Gave a message at the end to all the young guys basically telling them to get their asses into gear, cause the writing is already on the wall. They won't be there forever, so make something of themselves. It cut to the Shield, Dolph, and more guys while he was saying it. Overall it was a looooooooong show, but the red carpet was fun, Jake and Warrior had really good speeches, and Lita's was fun. I don't want to talk about the Hornswoggle/El Torito thing. But Bad News Barrett came out and told all the current superstars that this was as close as they were gonna get to the WWE Hall of Fame. Miz, Cody, Big Show, and a few more were laughing their asses off. Dolph looked PISSED. |

Lita looked absolutely wonderful. Her speech dragged on though, a bit of unnecessary story telling, but I guess hearing where she started and where she ended up makes it that much more special. I did love her story with Rey Mysterio and it coming full circle. Also that she thanked Victoria and Mickie James, because I didn't see that coming. It actually makes me think that Victoria will be the next woman to be inducted within the next couple of years. Though I don't think there was ever any doubt in that. The end of her speech gave me chills though, it was incredibly inspiring, it's just a shame she inspired AJ.
