The press conference is the most awkward thing. It's nothing but press who has zero knowledge of wrestling. Watching it rn and so far Hogan, Triple H and Daniel Bryan have come and gone to complete silence. And Batista just came out and is KILLING IT. This dude is hilarious, omg. Where is this guy on TV?

They used to invite fans to the press conferences but I think they stopped after the WM 27 one when Snooki got heckled and people were cursing at Cena. Uh, it's called an entourage, Burke. Something you should know about being a white rapper. I'm sure Brutus Beefcake and the Nasty Boys are back there somewhere too, people just assume they're part of the janitorial staff so they don't take pictures of them.

The latest look at how the set is coming on and also some possible spoilers:  Per a report from The Wrestling Observer, a number of past WWE Superstars were contacted about appearing in cameo-type roles for WrestleMania 30 on Sunday. Some of the names that were said to be contacted include The Rock, Steve Austin, Jim Ross, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels and Roddy Piper.
The report says there is a decent chance that The Rock will appear on the show, but it's unknown if he'll be there live or appear in a pre-taped interview segment.
Concerning Stone Cold Steve Austin, he said in the past he wouldn't go to New Orleans unless WWE had something for him and wouldn't go to sit in the crowd at the Hall of Fame ceremony. WWE had also pitched ideas to Austin for the show, and based on reports on his being in New Orleans this weekend, many believe he accepted one of them.I can maybe see a video but there's absolutely no way Rocky's flying all the way to New Orleans just for a quick cameo appearance. |

Spoilerz & Speculation:  Austin & Lita in New Orleans. Lita previously confirmed she'd be at WrestleMania but only at one axxess appearance. But if the Austin story about him not flying down unless they had something for him on the show was true, looks like he'll be on. Also, none of you will care but the fan that overheard AJ & Punk talking at the airport and leaked their engagement before it was confirmed on Raw, also heard Punk say he'd be in New Orleans. So, there's that. |

Is that Billy Gunn in the Orton picture? WWE has confirmed that Austin will be there. The only thing I can really see him doing is some little segment with Hogan like the Rock/Austin one from a few years ago. And I expected Lita to be there. Most Hall of Famers usually show up at WM the next night. I think Bret Hart is the only one who didn't because he was still being a baby at the time. Oh @ Burke knowing what 'cruising' means. It was just a general term! |
