And why?
WrestleMania X7 – Everyone I knew at the time was talking about and looking forward to Rock/Austin. WWF buying WCW the week before also added to the anticipation and I was hoping Goldberg or someone like that would show up at WrestleMania.
Royal Rumble 2000 – Simply because it was the first PPV I was ever able to watch live.
WrestleMania XXVIII – Rock/Cena and Taker/HHH in Hell in a Cell.
Royal Rumble 2003 – I look forward to the Rumble every year but this one in particular on top of the Rumble match also had a title match I really wanted to see in HHH vs. Scott Steiner (which ended up sucking).
Unforgiven 2006 – Trish’s final match and Edge vs. John Cena in a TLC match.
Invasion – I don’t know why I looked forward to it as much as I did since RVD and Stacy Keibler were the only new people I really liked (I didn’t become a Booker T fan until later). I think I was still expecting Goldberg or all the other real top WCW stars to show up and figured if they were ever going to it would have been on this show.
There are others I looked forward to but more specifically just for one thing like WrestleMania XXII for John Cena vs. HHH, Backlash 2003 for Rock/Goldberg, Summerslam 2002 for HBK’s return, ECW One Night Stand 2 for Cena/RVD, No Way Out 2002 for the NWO’s debut, Extreme Rules last year for Lesnar/Cena, Armageddon 2000 for the main event, etc.

When I was 12 I made my parents switch cable providers so we could order InVasion so I could see the tag team bra and panties match. The only other PPV I had to have was Survivor Series later that year because I still thought aspects of wrestling were real and I had tickets to Raw the next night and needed to know if I would be seeing WWF or WCW/ECW.

Every Royal Rumble from 2001 - 2004. It was like wrestling Christmas.
WrestleMania 17 - my first one.
InVasion - I remember crying cause my brother was allowed to stay up all night to watch it whereas I had to go to bed and watch the tape in the morning. I took all that Alliance stuff ridiculously seriously.
Survivor Series 2001 - Same as B minus Raw the next night. Even though three of my four favourites were in the Alliance (Hurricane, Molly, Stephanie, the other being Undertaker) I was legit worried WWE was going to lose.
WrestleMania XX - Dunno if I've ever been more excited for a wrestling related moment as I was for Undertaker's return from the dead. I was massively excited by all the signals he'd give Kane every week (rain, fire, moving the ring etc). Was a wee bit disappointed in the end.
Both One Night Stands - Again I was so hyped by the ECW thing and had watched the Rise and Fall docu DVD so many times by that point. My friend slept over for them too.

Oh, I don't know how I forgot to mention WrestleMania XX. I was ridiculously excited to see that show, especially Goldberg vs. Lesnar (lol).
