On live TV. THE EGGS FACTORBRITAIN’S Got Talent judge Simon Cowell was egged live on TV in last night’s final.
Shadow dancers Attraction, who hail from Hungary, won the ITV show.
Violinist Natalie Holt, 30 — booted off BGT last year with string quartet Raven — ran from her place in the orchestra to the front of the stage and hurled five eggs from a box.
Cowell’s jacket and shirt were splattered with yolk before grinning Natalie was led away by security.
Explaining her attack, Natalie said: “I basically took a stand against people miming on television and against Simon and his dreadful influence on the music industry."
Bemused opera act Richard and Adam Johnson carried on singing as she stood between them launching the eggs one by one.
Richard said: “I thought Simon was going to get killed. She had what looked like a hard, shiny object.”
Cowell, 53, declined to press charges. At the end of the show he quipped: “I would say that Britain’s Got Talent has got the Eggs-Factor.”
At first he thought Natalie was part of the brothers’ act before ducking for cover. Removing his egg-smeared jacket, he told the audience and 13million viewers: “I sent a tweet yesterday saying I don’t like eggs. I really don’t like them now. I’ve no idea what that was all about, so whoever’s watching, I apologise.”
Picking a piece of eggshell from his shirt, he added: “I thought she was throwing sandwiches.”
Fellow judge Amanda Holden, 42, said: “The only person who has egg on her face is that stupid cow.”
