Is she hot? If she is then it's pretty much a prerequisite for her to die in every horror movie she's in. Hypothetically if I were to play for that team I'd say she's at least a solid 8/10.

Ok, she’s hot. And she’s in that new John Carpenter horror movie I’ve been meaning to check out.

David Hasselhoff has been cast in the latest water-terror film, Piranha 3DD, Dimension Films has announced.
The action star/recording artist/author/pop-culture phenomenon joins a cast that already includes Ving Rhames, Christopher Lloyd, Paul Scheer, Gary Busey, Katrina Bowden, Danielle Panabaker, Matt Bush, Chris Zylka and David Koechner.
Piranha 3DD is set at a water park that becomes infested with the infamous flesh-eating fish. We don't yet know what role The Hoff will play. The film is set for release on November 23.
Might have to watch now for the comedy factor of seeing The Hoff and Gary Busey in the same movie.

Might have to watch now for the comedy factor of seeing The Hoff and Gary Busey in the same movie. It's like they were monitoring my dreams.

I turned on Sky Movies just in time to see the spring break massacre scene. I love that part.

I was glad Doc Brown distracted the annoying scientist long enough to be munched on by a Super Piranha. He deserved to die after driving the boat forward to save everyone else but Kelly. She obviously turned him down at some point and he was just bitter.

Katrina Bowden and Meagan Tandy will be stepping in to play the protocol pretty girl void left behind by Kelly Brook and Riley Steele. I'm glad they cast some cute girls in the movie. ( Danielle Panabaker has Layla face.) I had no intentions of sitting through the thespian stylings of David Hasselhoff, Gary Busey and David Koechner, but now I'll give it a shot. Yay. I'm only posting this to claim these two for Malfunkshun and I once the inevitable casting of this movie takes place.

I see they’re shamelessly ripping off the Planet Terror gun/leg thing.

Looks pretty true to the original, but the Ving Rhames part is just shameless.

I just finished this. Astro's casting was so on point. I feel kind of indifferent to it. It was fun and didn't take itself too seriously (which it shouldn't, it's a movie about piranha running wild on a water park), but I think if they hadn't focused so much on the over the top humor it could have actually been dope.
The big climax scene was underwhelming and it was more about Hasselhoff and the fat pool boy than the deaths, which could have been really cool given the environment, like the scene where the lifeguard falls out of the tower and hangs herself on her whistle after the credits. Honestly my biggest gripe was when they showed Ashley at the bottom of the lake the next day and she wasn't like, a skeleton.
Overall, I could have done without all the focus on Koechner, the guys from the first movie, and the fat pool boy, but some of the scenes were cool, like when the piranha were breaking the dock apart and when the van rolls into the lake. It's worth at least one viewing, for sure.

I'll be watching it solely for The Hoff. Otherwise I would have waited for it to come to Netflix.

This felt more like a parody of the last movie, and that's saying something cause the last one was making light of all the ridiculous shit that happens in horror films, but at least it felt like a horror film. The more I started to think about it, the more disappointed I was w/ the movie.
