Anyone who’s ever watched probably has some funny/weird experiences.
I was in HMV with my then girlfriend 4 or 5 years ago. She was off looking at something else while I was at the sports section. I happened to pick up the SummerSlam 2003 DVD (the one with Sable basically nude on the cover). She came back and saw me and I quickly put it back on the shelf like I had just been caught red handed. She gave me a look like “what kind of movies are you watching when I’m not around?” On a kind of related note, when I was like 13 years old one day I got the urge to put a bunch of wrestling posters up on my bedroom wall. They were mostly Trish Stratus and Stacy Keibler ones, lol. Afterwards it was so embarrassing having to explain to everyone who walked into my room that they were wrestlers and not like porn stars or whatever they thought they were.
A lot of the time from like 2000-2002 I usually watched RAW/SD when my parents were around since I didn’t have Sky Sports in my bedroom and had to watch in the living room. Having to explain a bra and panties match to my Mum was weird. And my Dad was totally into it even though he tried to act like it was dumb. If he missed a couple episodes he’d be asking me what’s been going on. And to this day if I’m in his house and a commercial for a WWE show comes on Sky Sports he always asks “are Rock/Stone Cold/Triple H/Undertaker still around?”

Oh god, the first time I went to see wrestling live in Autumn 2002 (I would have just turned ten I think). It was a SmackDown Rebellion tour or something. Torrie and Dawn had a bra and panties match. I was spared most of the embarrassment though because as soon as the match was announced I was like, "Um, dad, I think I wanna go and buy something. Will you come with me?", and he was like, "Good idea". My brother stayed though. Shame, 'cause I actually really wanted to see Dawn. I didn't get to see any of the divas, 'cause for some reason Nidia wasn't there with Noble and Stephanie wasn't there to open the show or anything even though I KNOW she was on the tour ('cause she opened the PPV). We got Tony Chimel instead. I can't really think of any really embarrassing moments. I did get accused in school of 'having no backbone' by one very dramatic fan because I told someone else that I wasn't as interested in wrestling any more and he caught wind of it. That was probably more embarrassing for him in hindsight though, 'cause I kinda told everyone what he had been acting like and it kinda became a running joke to mimic him, complete with exaggerated accent.

Anytime I watch wrestling with someone who doesn't is completely awkward. If you don't already know Santino is supposed to be stupid by the time his music hits, he just comes off as really really stupid. One time we had alot of people over, and I forget what show it is, but I started watching the show where Dusty Rhodes was in a wig dancing backstage with Goldust and Cody and Aksana and I think Kelly for some tragic reason. I'm sure WWE thought that segment was HI-larious, but it left me completely red faced with about a dozen people looking at me like "you watch this crap every week?" The most recent red faced moment was that entire promo this past week with Bryan, Punk, Kane and AJ. Good god. I know wrestling is really shitty nowadays, and I really shouldn't be watching it anymore, but you never really know just how god awful it truly is until you watch it with someone who doesn't. Edit: To add a bit of a bright side to my embarrassment, AJ won the people I was watching with over when she started molesting Kane.
