I was bored and it only cost me about £6, so I figured why not.
We got a little bit of a glimpse of this a year or so ago I think, but we never got a lot of names, so I'll tell y'all some of the gossip. I'm only 15 minutes in, but...
- There was apparently a time when Melina and Torrie got on well enough. They (and Nidia) were chatty when Melina was first hired in late 2003/2004.
- She loved Beth Phoenix and Kelly Kelly. She was friendly with Kelly when she first got started and travelled with her in ECW.
- Remember when we were trying to work out which diva betrayed her? Well, it's Rosa Mendes. Apparently a lot of the other girls didn't care for her because she partied hard and wasn't a wrestler, but Shelly thought they were friends. Well apparently Rosa hurt her really badly and one time when they were wrestling she didn't sell for her, so she stiffed her. She apologizes for it and talks about how bad stiffing is.

When Angelina Love was being looked at by WWE, and at one point she thought Angelina was being a bit catty towards her, so she took it personally and disliked her for a long time. Turns out Angelina actually really liked her and eventually they became good friends.

There's a funny Sandman story, but I think it's on YouTube already, so I'll leave it.
BATISTA: She had a dream and they were talking and getting along and blah blah blah which eventually led to them making up over Twitter and some movie showing (after this shoot), which is great, but we all know about that. The DRAMA.
Batista was dating Melina, one of her friends, and one day Melina was venting to her (as friends do), and Shelly told her she deserved better. The next day at TV Batista was really weird with her, and got all aggressive saying "You and Melina think alike!". She didn't get what he was talking about, but he was getting really frustrated with her. At catering he'd shake everyone's hand except hers, and she'd be like "Oh hi Dave! I don't think you saw me!"
It got weird, and she asked Sharmell for advice, who said to just stay away from him. She decided to leave it alone, because she'd just been looking out for a friend, and prior to that the two of them had actually been on good terms. One day John Lauri-whatsit called Shelly into his office, and she opened the door to find Batista there. He (Johnny Ace) wanted to know what the problem was, so she asked Batista because she said she had no idea, but he just started cursing and going on about the 'You and Melina think alike' thing again. John told him to try shaking his hand, and she did, but Batista ignored her, so Johnny Ace just told her to stay away from him.
At one show she saw a wrestler's girlfriend crying because her boyfriend was being cold to her and wouldn't sit with her, so she went over to the guy and mentioned it to him (she admits now that she probably should have let it be). He took it as a joke at first, but then got angry, and she saw him whisper something to Batista and just thought, 'Uh oh'. Batista turned to her and said, "Hey Shelly, why don't you just mind your own f'ing business?". So she thought why not, and said "You know what, last time I checked you weren't involved either, so why don't you mind YOUR own business." Batista got all up in her face, running her down and saying how irrelevant she was.
She talks about how she had a boyfriend in highschool who mentally and physically abused her, and she wasn't going to allow anyone male or female to give her a feeling in any way similar to that. She told him she didn't care what he thought about her. She says he was probably just looking for a reaction from the other guys to make it look like he was putting her in her place, so he got really angry and started sticking his middle finger right in her face and swearing at her. So she slapped his finger out of her face and said, "Fuck you, a real man would have pulled me aside, but you want to put an act on". He stormed out after that.
John got to her again and told her she couldn't talk to top male talent like that, but she said it doesn't matter who you are; if someone talks down on her like that then she's going to stand up for herself. But said, "Not if it's top male talent".
So eventually she got the phone call, with JL saying creative had nothing for her, and she laughed and said, "You're seriously going to give me that reason when I've been on TV every week for a year?". He told her to keep in touch, but she told him no, that she was done with the company. She said thank you and hung up.

She got involved in a love triangle with two people she won't name (because people would get really angry).

When she'd be separated by her boyfriend overseas or whatever, the guys would all play this game to see who could hook up with her while he was away. At one point a guy forced himself on top of her and she actually thought she was going to get raped. She pushed him away, and the next day a guy came up to her and accused her of talking about him. She'd told Melina and people had evidently overheard the conversation, and got heat for it, but she knew she couldn't speak up about it because that's the way things work in wrestling, more so in WWE than in TNA.

She says you hear stories about promiscuity among the women and a lot of cattiness, but most people ignore the fact that a lot of it stems from this attitude the guys have that they can get away with whatever they like, and that they feed off the cattiness because it distracts from their behaviour. She says people should think twice before judging.

Sounds good. I had saw this earlier, but I never got around to watching it. I might watch it now.

It is good. The rest isn't quite as gossipy, but she talks about some interesting personal stuff and just comes across really well. I regret calling her crazy.

They made up last year, so I'm glad for them. More so for Shelly, but if Batista's changed now that he's out of wrestling then I give him some credit.
