I've been playing around with this one for ages, but here goes...
John Morrison is a closeted homosexual.
The most telling pieces of evidence are Melina's drunken supposed post-breakup tweets on New Year's Day 2011. Read for yourself:
“I wish I could b perfect enough.”
“I wish I was him. I truly wanted to be the perfect woman for you.”
My belief is that Melina, who met John during the try-outs for Tough Enough 3, had a lingering crush on him following that. Morrison of course recognized her beauty, but being gay couldn't take it any further than that. A few years later, the two met up again in OVW, and struck a close bond. John revealed his secret to Melina, and asked Melina to play the role of beard for him, due to him not wanting the truth to surface. Melina, just wanting to be a great friend, agreed.
Somewhere along the way, Melina fell in love with John in spite of his sexuality. She entered a relationship with Batista in an attempt to get over this, but kept in private to everyone but John. Hence the rumour that John would drive Melina to Batista's house and would pick her up from dates and stuff.
It hasn't been a smooth ride for the two. Melina's love has made it hard for her to deal with John having relations with a man, as can be seen in those tweets (John slept with Cody Rhodes on New Year's obv).
Now, the WWE prefers that gay men don't become world champions due to bad public image, which is why John keeps his sexuality secret, but unfortunately for him Vince McMahon became aware of the truth a while back. Morrison actually had a brief affair with Shane McMahon, which ultimately led to a major bust-up between the father and son, resulting in Shane's departure from the company. JoMo was left to suffer, and as long as Vince is alive he will never become World Champion. Vince can never reveal John's secret, as it would mean running the risk of revealing Shane's little escapade into man-loving.
Now that Melina has departed, the two have decided to 'break up'. How will John cope? Will he find another beard, or will he trust his heart and let fate decide?
