"Put Together The Ultimate '80s Mixtape" lists a song from the early 70s as the first choice. Fucking buzzfeed.
I got Star-Lord too though.

You got: Rocket You have a plan for every situation, but you tend to just go in guns blazing! You're proof that the best things come in small packages.

I watched it last night, then watched it again right afterwards in IMAX. I loved it. The soundtrack wasn't as good as the first, but I think the movie itself was better. I'm also genuinely happy they've kept them separated from the rest of the Marvel Universe for the most part. Obviously there's Thanos and a bunch of hints and teases to things, but both movies have felt very standalone, and I love it because they're both 2 of my favorite movies of all time.
I'm sure we won't be so lucky with a 3rd and I'll have to put up with Iron Man or Thor's asses again, ugh. I'm so sick of this Marvel continuity already.

I just got back from seeing it. I thought it was amazing, and maybe a little better than the first. The final fight between Star-Lord and the villain (no spoilers) reminded me of something from Dragon Ball Z, which made me happy because I'm going through my yearly DBZ kick right now.

Homecoming suffered a 61% drop in ticket sales in it's second weekend, the same as The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 3.

I'm so glad that was so Guardians heavy, they're the gem of the MCU, so I'm here for them featuring more than the actual Avengers.

If I knew that Spider-Man being a huge success would have helped convince Universal to play ball with Marvel for a Hulk sequel, I would have seen it multiple times 💀
