The SummerSlam thread made me think of how awful SummerSlam 2007 was. I remember the main event (Cena vs. Orton) being awesome but literally everything else on the show bored me to death.
And more recently, Over The Limit a few months ago was pretty terrible.

I remember Unforgiven 2002 being really dull.
But really, Unforgiven 2004 was horrible. Tomko vs. Drag Stevie was the icing that topped a cake of boringness.
Backlash 2006 was really awful as well. Everything went wrong at the start, and then they had to give certain matches extra time. I remember RVD/Shelton lasting for about half an hour, and it wasn't nearly as good as you'd expect. It was completely boring, actually.
Great American Bash 2004. WM23 was disappointing.

SummerSlam 2005 - onwards.
Over the Limit 2011 and Capitol Punishment have been the worst WWE events this year.
Genesis, Against All Odds, Victory Road, Sacrifice, Slammiversary IX and Destination X were all awful this year. Lockdown was the only decent TNA event this year.

Great American Bash 2004. Oh my God, I hated that show. I think that is actually my least favourite. Not even Sable vs. Torrie could save it. Dishonourable mention to New Year's Revolution 2005 also. The main event was good. Everything else sucked. Also, I pretty much hated the majority of the SD PPV's in those days. I was so happy when they stopped doing brand exclusive PPV's. |

I used to always expect to find the SmackDown PPVs boring, but they always turned out to be better than the Raw ones, lol.
2004 aside. Oh dear.
