Did anyone play any of the non-PlayStation/XBox WWE games? I did. Day of Reckoning and Day of Reckoning 2 are great, I still play them to this day. |

I played Day of Reckoning 2 but I don't remember much. Only that the storyline started out following the events of part 1 so I had no idea what was happening.
Raw and Raw 2 were awful, but they allowed you to change attires and do run-ins on people in season. So very early Superstar Threads and Universe Mode.
The only WrestleMania game I played was WrestleMania 21 and it was okay.
The SmackDown series has just always been the only good wrestling series imo, that's why it survived to become 2k while the others died.

I've spent too much time watching a let's play of this game:
I used to make my grandma take me to Blockbuster and rent an entire Playstation for $250 a week (with a $200 deposit) just to play this game.
Watching this also reminded me of Batman: Vengeance for some reason, even though that was PS2. The original BTAS game:

I was tempted to buy the PlayStation Classic for a moment there, but then I remembered that I still have mine with all of my old games. Nostalgia nearly had me dropping £90 on something I didn't need, lol.

I still have the classic Tomb Raiders, Twisted Metal 2, SmakDown! 2 and Fighting Force which is all I care about from the original PlayStation anyways. |
