Am I really the only person that thought this movie sucked?

The entire thing was filmed in my hometown though so that was cool. Distracting, but cool.

I didn't think it sucked, I just don't think it's as funny as everyone is making it out to be. Personally, I thought it was better than Hangover 2 (which was just a repeat of the first movie).

There were funny parts, and I like the cast (Rose Byrne <3) but it just dragged on. There were so many slow parts of nothing happening that the jokes seemed so far and few. The movie is watchable but it is a total chick flick, which everyone was trying to tell me it wasn't, and it's nowhere near as raunchy or funny as the movies everyone has been comparing it to.

The only thing everyone got right was saying it's the Hangover of 2011 - A decent but bland movie with a few chuckles that everyone overhyped to hell.

The directing sucked too. The movie felt like the filmakers knew they were making the funniest movie of all time when they weren't. The way they promoted it, the way a character would make a joke and then it would hold on their face for a good 10 seconds as if they were giving the audience time to stop laughing. It was a bad directing job and just makes it awkward when the joke bombs and you're left staring at a reaction forever in a silent theater.



Getting to your Hangover comment, I wasn't a fan of the first at all, but I loved this one. I don't know why. So hopefully Bridesmaids 2 will actually be funny.

Oh yeah, I saw this today. It was funny imo! Kristen Wiig really is hilarious. Also, props for Britney being on the soundtrack. Though, the previews had me expecting a little more Wendi McLendon-Covey than I got.
