- First female judge to win the X Factor. - Winner in her debut. - Winner AND runner-up simultaneously. - Took the Over 25s further as a group than any other judge at that point. - Took a female to third place when the odds were stacked against her. - Winning judge 2010. - Only judge to leave the show as reigning champion. - Constantly voted 'Most popular judge' in various polls year after year after year. - Queen of the X Factor. We'll miss you, Dannii. Good look in everything you do, especially with regards to your family. <3 X Factor will never be the same, but will be survived through the fantastic Louis Walsh. Dannii Minogue quits 'The X Factor' Saturday, May 14 2011, 22:29 BST By Daniel Sperling, Entertainment ReporterDannii Minogue has confirmed that she will not return for the next series of The X Factor. The 39-year-old, who won the 2007 and 2010 editions of the ITV contest with Leon Jackson and Matt Cardle, explained that her commitment to Australia's Got Talent had prevented her from rejoining the judging panel this year. She told My Daily: "During discussions for me to return [to The X Factor] it became clear that unfortunately, this year, the X Factor audition dates in the UK clash with the live shows of Australia's Got Talent during June and July. For this reason I am unable to return. "I want to wish the new judges every success for this year's show, and can't wait to see who the British public choose as their next big star. Thanks to everyone who has shown me so much love and support, and brought me so much joy during my four incredible years working on the show." She added: "'Team Minogue' will continue to fly a flag later this year when the amazingly talented, and last year's winner, Matt Cardle releases his debut album." The News of the World reports that N-Dubz star Tulisa Contostavlos has been drafted in as a replacement for Minogue, though her alleged appointment has yet to be confirmed. Take That singer Gary Barlow is the only confirmed X Factor UK judge, after Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole both quit their roles to join the forthcoming US version. It has not been announced whether Louis Walsh will return to the panel for the eighth series.

Cheryl isn't coming back. Tulisa from N-Dubz is pretty much confirmed to take her place, which I'm happy with, 'cause she seems really sweet, but is also someone I don't think will take any shit.
Gary Barlow (yawn) is replacing Simon.
Kelly Rowland is tipped to replace Dannii.
Louis is the only judge left out of last year's four.

I like Kelly Rowland. Why does the name Gary Barlow sound familiar to me?

He is/was in Take That. You can thank my unnatural love of Robbie Williams for that one.

They used the same musical score and special effects in the opening reveal that the 2008 series of Gladiators used.

I LOVE how this panel has more chemistry after two episodes than the old one had after three years. *-*
And seriously, HOW GOOD WAS MISHA? Best first audition in the show's history?
And The Keys too! Potential to be the best group this show has ever seen by such a wide margin.

OH, that John the Maths teacher guy was LOVELY. I could fall asleep to that voice. The speaking voice, not the singing one, although that was quite nice too. I've fallen in love with the Welsh accent recently and I don't know why.

The Over 25s category this year is INSANE. I'm convinced that Kitty would actually KILL to make the live finals.

I watched both episodes this weekend. Janet Devlin and Johnny Robinson are my favourites.
