 According to Bloody Disgusting, the upcoming Fright Night remake has received an R rating for "bloody horror violence and language including some sexual references." Check out the trailer below:
I loved the original. Not sure if I'll see this one. It looks okay though. |

I've seen the original, but the trailer kind of reminds me of that Disturbia movie that came out a couple of years ago. I'll wait for the DVD.

When I saw the title of this thread I thought it was going to be a horror movie version of the Fight Night franchise. But with Freddy, Jason, Ghostface, Chucky, etc. instead of boxers... ngl, I'm disappointed.

This is getting quite a lot of positive reviews. Most of them praising the perfomances of David Tennant and Colin Farrell.

I just got back from seeing this on a date with my work crush.
The movie was actually pretty good. I didn't go into it with any expectations, so that helped. I also didn't know that it was written by Marti Noxon (second writer in charge of BtVS). I would kind of liken it to a male Jennifer's Body, only less awesome.
Side note, I was running late and got their after my work crush was already inside because someone was holding me up on Yahoo. It was dark inside and he told me he was on the third row up. So on the way up the stairs I miscounted (lol) and sat next to some total stranger. So embarrassing, but so me.

I finally saw this. It was pretty good (great as far as remakes go). And I’m glad that the original Fright Night is one of the few 80’s horror movies I haven’t seen like 1000 times so at least I couldn’t remember every single little thing that was going to happen.

Just half watched it. Couldn't get into it so didn't really know what was going on half the time. Kinda sick of vampires.
