I know some people are against them and think it defeats the purpose of the game. Not me though. I’ll take any shortcut I can.

Cheat codes are kind of like steroids. A little enhancement never hurt anybody!
I personally think, say Tomb Raider for example, is much more fun to play with dual uzis that have unlimited ammo as opposed to those puny pistols.

Unlimited ammo cheats are my favourite.
And I used cheats in Twisted Metal 2 all the time to be able to play as Minion.

Not really a "cheat" but having PSN and being able to purchase all the unlockables in SmackDown Vs. RAW is so much easier than having to play through all that boring shit in story mode countless times to get them.

I still haven't done that. Mostly because $10 is more valuable to me than the likes of Yoshi Tatsu and William Regal.

The last time I used cheat codes in a video game was when Saints Row 2 came out, unless you count the unlock all DLC for SDvR11.

I miss the days when it seemed like every game had cheats and you could just go online or buy a magazine and you’d have them. Nowadays most games don’t even have any at all.
I’m playing Twisted Metal and I’ve died like 15 times trying to complete this one particular deathmatch. I would kill (perhaps literally, if it came to it) for an unlimited health/ammo cheat right about now.
