- It was reported earlier that WWE planned on releasing several talents following WrestleMania XXVII. The latest word is that between 12 and 14 talents will be cut. More shortly.

Alberto Del Rio - I liked him Pre-Mania. He's stale to me now. His matches bore me, and his promos are all the same.... but you already knew that, didn't you?

Beth Phoenix - It was a fun run Beth. You're sweet and all, but it was either you or Natalya, and she kept name dropping Bret.

Brodus Clay - Potatoes = Empty Calories

Chavo Guerrero - Living off your dead uncle can only get you so far.... It's time. Vickie's the only entertaining Guerrero nowadays.

Hornswoggle - Die in a fire.

Husky Harris - Just like Samoa Joe, your jelly rolls make me hate you.

Jey Uso - Who?

Jimmy Uso - Who?

Michael Cole - Terrible announcer, terrible actor, terrible wrestler, terrible character, terrible figure, terrible fashion sense, terrible fanbase (Burke), terrible friends (John Cena), and just an all around terrible person. Santino is still one of the most popular entertainers in WWE. His job is safe. Hornswoggle is safe too.

If the following is true then there's a couple people who might be a little worried right about now...

Dave Meltzer is reporting that there is backstage heat on both Melina and John Morrison right now. Both felt that Trish took Melina’s spot at Wrestlemania and have been giving her the cold shoulder since her return. Morrison even turned down various ideas she had for the angle as well as matches. Many feel that this will hurt both Morrison and Melina since Trish is so highly regarded backstage.

I don't buy this though. Melina never had anything to do with any of the storylines in the lead up to WM. If anyone was screwed out of a WM spot, it was clearly Kelly.

...Melina sees Trish as being the best of the best as far as women in wrestling are concerned. Trish actually supported her back in 2005/2006 and proposed angles for her. And Melina went out of her way to go to Trish's yoga place to train.

Whatever the case, this is a good sign. Everytime Melina supposedly has 'backstage heat' she ends up getting a nice little (or big) push. The first time she ended up moving to Raw and getting a storyline with Foley, the second time she got to hold and feud for the Women's title for months, the third time she got the Diva's title in her second match after returning, and the fourth time she got that little Natalya feud.
