DARK MATCH
Before WrestleMania 27 went on the air, a lumberjack match for the United States Championship between defending champion Sheamus and Daniel Bryan was scheduled to take place but it was changed to a battle royal after the lumberjacks interfered in the match. The Great Khali won.
As the show goes live, Keri Wilson sang "America the Beautiful".
The Rock welcomes the WWE Universe at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia.
Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, and Josh Mathews welcomed us to WrestleMania 27.
EDGE VS. ALBERTO DEL RIO (WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP)
Del Rio came out in a fancy black Rolls-Royce. Christian came out, followed by reigning champion Edge. It was a classic back-and-forth battle but not even an injured arm couldn't stop the Rated-R Superstar.
WINNER: Edge
After the match, Edge celebrates by defacing Del Rio's car with some help from Christian.
A commercial for Tough Enough aired.
REY MYSTERIO VS. CODY RHODES
The Undashing One came out minus his digital mirror trying to be avoided by the camera. The "Master of the 619" came out dressed as Captain America.
The emotionally disturbed Rhodes came out brutalizing the masked luchador but Mysterio takes off Rhodes' mask and puts it on. However, the second-generation Superstar steals a victory with the Cross Rhodes.
WINNER: Rhodes
Backstage, Snoop Dogg pays a visit and mingles with Teddy Long. The duo then holds auditions. William Regal is first but fails his audition. The Great Khali and Beth Phoenix are next, followed by Zack Ryder. Chris Masters and Yoshi Tatsu are next with Queen's "We Will Rock You" before being booted off by WWE Hall of Famer Rowdy Roddy Piper. Finally, Hornswoggle steals the show with his rap number complete with the Bella Girls.
BIG SHOW, KANE, SANTINO MARELLA, & KOFI KINGSTON VS. THE CORRE
This was a quick match with The World's Largest Athlete pinning the "One-Man Rock Band".
WINNERS: Big Show, Kane, Marella, & Kingston
Backstage, The Rock is chatting with Divas Champion Eve but is interrupted by the legendary Mae Young. After Eve escorts Young, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin pays The People's Champion a visit.
A video package on the Randy Orton-CM Punk rivalry aired.
RANDY ORTON VS. CM PUNK
The Apex Predator comes out swinging but The Straight Edge Savior storms right back. It was another lengthy match but The Viper RKO's Punk and gets his revenge-filled victory.
WINNER: Orton
Backstage, The Rock shares his memories with Mean Gene Okerlund before being interrupted by John Cena's #1 fan - Pee Wee Herman.
A commercial hawking the The True Story of WrestleMania DVD is shown.
The 2011 WWE Hall of Famers are introduced but Shawn Michaels comes out to a huge ovation.
A WrestleMania Recall featuring the Jerry Lawler-Jack Swagger match from last week's RAW is shown.
JERRY LAWLER VS. MICHAEL COLE (SPECIAL GUEST REFEREE "STONE COLD" STEVE AUSTIN)
Booker T is introduced, followed by Jim Ross. Cole interrupts "Good Ol' JR" by bashing The King as being "Overweight, overrated, and over-the-hill" as well as glorifying himself. The All-American American Jack Swagger comes out and does his push ups before being interrupted by Austin who drives his tractor to the arena. Finally, Lawler comes out. I didn't know that the "Voice of the WWE" had that many tattoos. But after Cole tries to apologize to Lawler but Lawler does not want any part of it. This match believe it or not was surprisingly long but Swagger gets a Stunner from Austin allowing Lawler gets the best of Cole.
WINNER: Lawler
After the match, Lawler and Austin celebrate by drinking beers and Booker T joins them but Austin stuns Booker T as well.
The RAW GM chimes in and says that Austin helped Lawler to defeat Cole. Therefore, Lawler has been disqualified and reverses his decision. After Lawler argues with Mathews, Mathews gets stunned as well.

The National Guard soldiers are introduced.
A video package on the Triple H-Undertaker rivalry is shown.
TRIPLE H VS. UNDERTAKER (NO HOLDS BARRED MATCH)
A new song from Metallica is played. The Game is introduced followed by The Deadman. This match turned out to be one, if not the greatest matches in WrestleMania history. A classic back-and-forth match that lasted well over thirty minutes but in the end, the Hellsgate was too much for Triple H to overcome.
WINNER: Undertaker (goes to 19-0 at WrestleMania)
After the match, trainers tend to The Phenom.
Commercials hawking the "Don't try this at home" campaign and next year's WrestleMania 28 at Miami is shown.
SNOOKI, TRISH STRATUS, & JOHN MORRISON VS. DOLPH ZIGGLER & LAYCOOL
Vickie Guerrero interrupts ring announcer Justin Roberts to introduce her boyfriend Dolph Ziggler and LayCool. The Shaman of Sexy comes out next, followed by Trish Stratus and Nicole "Snooki" Pilozzi. The match starts out very intense but in the end, Snooki pins McCool for the pin.
WINNERS: Snooki, Stratus, & Morrison.
The Tough Enough cast is shown in the audience.
A commercial hawking the Extreme Rules PPV is shown.
Justin Roberts announces the total attendance: 71, 617 (a new record)
THE MIZ VS. JOHN CENA (WWE CHAMPIONSHIP)
A video package on the John Cena-The Miz rivalry is shown.
The defending champion The Miz comes out first with Alex Riley in tow. A gospel choir performs followed by a video segment on John Cena. Cena then comes out in new ring attire to a mixed reaction while the choir sings his entrance theme, "The Time is Now".
Cena and The Miz waste no time as they trade barbs along the way. Another classic match that exceeded expectations. The match however ends in a double countout and as a result ends in a draw.
WINNER: None (The Miz retains the WWE Championship)
The Rock shows up but before he says something the RAW GM chimes in. The RAW GM says that WrestleMania 28 is not over and that the match will continue.
The Rock turns on Cena by attacking him. This gives The Miz the victory.
WINNER: The Miz.
After the match, The Rock attacks The Miz.
Overall, I give WrestleMania 27 a 9 out of 10.
