In all seriousness, what's The Rock's purpose in this besides reminding us all how old he's gotten? Is he even really doing anything at WrestleMania? Apart from his first night back, his whole return has been a letdown tbh. If he's not actually having a match with Cena then he should probably just go away again.

So just watched this.....
I hope Snooki shows up drunk at wrestlemania and falls on her face halfway down the 30 mile rampway.
And good lord, that segment showed how much genius entertainment skips a generation. Hogan=Entertaining (at the time it was anyway), Bret=Lameville, Rock/Austin=Entertaining, Cena/Orton=Sucktown, Miz=Entertaining.
Cena's promo made no sense whatsoever. Even the Rock was looking at him like wtf are you talking about. He and the Rock have no chemistry and seemed awkward in the ring together. Miz and Rock meshed together much better.
The whole BJ vs Burke feud aside, that segment truly showed how awful Cena is, and why I can't stand him. He completely killed that whole segment. And then his cheep pussy attack on the Rock made him look really cowardly.
I hope Rock kicks his ass on Sunday. If HHH/Taker really does end up being the main event, Miz WILL be leaving as champion. And Burke, you can bet on that.

So Kofi Kingston gets nothing for 'Mania. Jack Swagger is a lackey for an announcer. While f****** Snooki is in a match.
No wonder I can't sit through the dreg the E shovels out these days.

Snooki fighting is going to be a hell of a lot more entertaining than watching another snoozefest put on by either Kingston or Swagger. But that's just me I guess. I've never given a shit about the wrestling side of pro wrestling.

It's not just you. While I do care about matches, the entertainment side of wrestling generally comes first with me too.
Snookie isn't entertaining to me though and it's incredible how Kofi can be left out in the cold given how over he usually is with crowds.

The last two minutes are so great. I love when Cena acts like a dick (please…no gay jokes). Seriously, when the time is right he’s gonna be like the greatest heel ever. Cena's promo made no sense whatsoever. Even the Rock was looking at him like wtf are you talking about. He and the Rock have no chemistry and seemed awkward in the ring together. Miz and Rock meshed together much better. I know we’re on different sides here…but honestly, do you really believe that? I say this with all personal bias aside ( ), but I thought Cena verbally destroyed Rocky last night (something I‘ve only ever seen Chris Jericho do). Cena finally dropped the stupid jokes, countered every point Rock made, said he didn’t care what he thought of him and Rocky looked like he was gonna cry and could only respond with “I’m gonna kick your ass.“ I was disappointed in Miz. I thought the WM go home show (and probably his last RAW as champion) would inspire him to revert from his usual stock promo of using his opponents catchphrases and/or saying “really?”, “owned” or “awesome” every other word. The energy was almost literally sucked out of the building when his music hit. And seriously, after the reactions to all the Cena-Rock stuff it will be a huge waste if they don’t have a match now. I think Cena wins on Sunday…Rock offers him a handshake…Cena accepts…then Rock pulls him in for a Rock Bottom/People‘s Elbow combo…then they have the match at Summerslam or next years WM. I think they done a great job with Cena/Rock/Miz and HHH/Taker/HBK last night. They had to, because most of the last month or so was underwhelming. And good lord, that segment showed how much genius entertainment skips a generation. Hogan=Entertaining (at the time it was anyway), Bret=Lameville, Rock/Austin=Entertaining, Cena/Orton=Sucktown, Miz=Entertaining. I thought Randy Orton was your favourite wrestler? And I hate to break it to you...but Miz is part of Cena and Orton’s generation and he’s likely never going to be a bigger star than either of them (well maybe Orton, but even that’s a stretch).

He does that kip-up in every movie he's in... why does he have to botch it the one time he really needs it?

I didn't even notice his screw up watching it live tbh. HBK still managed to do that move perfectly every time even when he was in his 40's...Rock needs to try harder next time.

I know we’re on different sides here…but honestly, do you really believe that? I really do. It felt so awkward seeing the two of them in the ring together. (then again it's always awkward seeing Cena in the ring nowadays. He REALLY needs to get rid of the purple crap) The reason Rock didn't really have anything to come back with at Cena is because Cena didn't give him anything to work with. Cena's been talking shit and acting tough the last couple weeks (years actually), then they finally meet face to face and Cena kisses Rocks ass and plays the victim. Then he starts talking about Rock doesn't like him because of his color, the way he talks, the music he listened to. Not only did none of that make a shred of sense whatsoever, but it just dragged on and was so boring and killed all the momentum the Rock had just made. And that's what Cena always does. And that's why I hate him. And the fact that one line from the Rock got twice the pop than anything Cena said during his five minute whine shows how much the Rock knows how to connect with the crowd and Cena doesn't, which is why Cena will never be as good as the Rock, Austin, HHH, HBK, or even Hogan. Then the Miz came out and did exactly what works in pro wrestling. "I'm gonna kick your ass" "No I'm gonna kick your ass" then they fight, and one of them gets their asses kicked. The only time long emotional speeches work are when they are given by legends who know how to give them. Taker/HHH/HBK was a good example of that. They have been around long enough and have enough respect from the crowd that they can sit there and talk about how much they respect eachother, while still building tension and making you think a fight could break out at any moment. Cena, no matter how much he likes to think he is (saying he was in a moment with the rock when it didn't really feel like a historic moment to me at all. The moment was on Feb. 14th, Cena, and you weren't a part of it, thank god), he's nowhere near their level yet. When Cena tried to do it, he just seemed like he was whining to the Rock about leaving and he was just trying to get him to come back and blah blah blah. I didn't think for one second a fight was gonna break out between the two because Cena was so nonchalant about the whole thing, even though the Rock did his best to look like he was about to rip Cena's trachea out. That whole segment, apart from Miz coming out and taking the first People's Elbow in 7 years, just completely bombed for me. And it was Cena's fault. Also, the ending truly pissed me off and made me hate Cena even more. "Why do you hate me?" "I don't want to fight" "I'm one of the millions" then the Rock turns around and he cheaps shots his ass and heads for the hills? That's Heel Turn 101 right there. Another reason I can't stand Cena, he's supposedly their biggest face, but does nothing but act like a coward and do heelish actions. It's really aggravating. So yes, you ask if I truly believe that? I do. Do I really hate John Cena? I do. Do I honestly think The Miz is better than Cena in every way conceivable? I honestly do. I can't wait for Cena to leave wrestling for good, but just like Hogan, he'll force himself on us until the day he dies. I thought Randy Orton was your favorite wrestler? Randy Orton from 2003-2006 was my favorite wrestler. He's still my favorite superstar, the same way Melina is my favorite diva. At one point, they truly were my favorites and I bought T-Shirts, always played as them and made them my champions in SvR. Rewatched all there matches and segments. Pretty much all the stuff you do with Cena except less sad cause I was only 14/15 at the time. They're just my favorites for nostalgic reasons now and because it became habit to call them so. Miz has been my favorite wrestler for about a year and a half now, and Maryse/Kelly swap back and forth as my favorite diva. I just don't want to step all over B's territory so I still claim Orton as my favorite wrestler. My true all time favorites, are the Rock and Trish Stratus, which is why I'm very much looking forward to this Sunday. (Snooki or no Snooki) And I hate to break it to you...but Miz is part of Cena and Orton’s generation You couldn't be more wrong. We are in the middle of the generation shift. Cena, Orton, Edge and everyone that was big in 2004-2005 are the vets now. Miz, Morrison, Sheamus, Rhodes, McIntyre, Bourne, Punk, Bryan ect. These are the new guys (though some have been around for a while) They've all just started reaching main event status whereas Cena and Orton have been there since the Rock was still an active wrestler. They are the last generation, passing the torch to this new one. Which is why I honestly believe, Miz has a small chance of walking out of Mania as champ. Especially since Cena got the "upper hand" on the last show. When I say I hate Cena and Miz is awesome, I'm not just trying to get under your skin. (though that's part of the fun ) It's because I truly feel that way. I HATE John Cena.

Was this thing worth watching then? Nope. Burke and Jayzero are just too proud to admit the potential of John Cena vs. The Miz was squandered on The Rock and are trying to blame it on the other's respective man.

When I say I hate Cena and Miz is awesome, I'm not just trying to get under your skin. (though that's part of the fun ) It's because I truly feel that way. I HATE John Cena. Oh. Fair enough. I don’t think Miz is bad. I just think Cena is better in every single way. Like everything Miz is good at, Cena is great at and has done far better whether it's matches, promos or whatever else. (btw, I'm not quoting all of that bit by bit from here because...well I can't be bothered, lol) Contrary to popular belief...I have never owned a John Cena shirt. Trish and Rock are both in my top 10 all time favourites also. I know I sometimes focus on the bad/ridiculous stuff because I think it's funny but like you, I'm also looking forward to WM, especially the HHH-Taker match and the Cena/Rock/Miz stuff. And Cena and Orton are pretty much the same age as the Miz’s and Morrison’s and the others you mentioned as being the “future.” They just made it to the top quicker. I don’t really see them as being part of any real generation shift. HHH, Taker, Edge, Rey etc. The days of those guys are coming to an end, sure. But Cena and Orton? In 5 years I picture them still being the two biggest stars in the company tbh. Neither guy will even be 40 by then. A Miz win wouldn't surprise me greatly at this point. In fact part of me thinks it would be smart to have him hold the title for another month or two and win here because of The Rock (although I will possibly delete this post later and vehemently deny ever saying this). HHH-Taker is the true main event to me, so I think that should go on last. These are honestly the longest posts I've ever seen either of you make on here. Was this thing worth watching then? Do you have any kind of interest at all in The Rock, John Cena or The Miz? If you do, then I would say yes. Nope. Burke and Jayzero are just too proud to admit the potential of John Cena vs. The Miz was squandered on The Rock and are trying to blame it on the other's respective man. They’re kinda getting to have their cake and eat it. Even though Rock’s not wrestling, him simply being involved at all will probably make them a lot of money. Then they still have the actual Cena-Rock match for next year. And Rock-Miz too at some point if he has more than one match left in him.
