Thinking about Carmella made me think of this. I expected her to get called up to the main roster, be with Enzo and Cass for a while then become a jobber for a while before disappearing.
She's basically always had something at least decent to do though. She started by immediately feuding with Nikki Bella which helped get her over. Then she had the James Ellsworth stuff which was great at first. Then won MITB and got to carry it around for a while unlike most recent winners. Then won the title and got a decent length reign. Then won the Mixed Match Challenge which began her pairing with R-Truth which continues today and is probably the only decent thing on TV right now.
She's arguably already had a more memorable career than say someone like Natalya whose been around way longer, even if she's not had as many titles/PPV matches.
