I have no idea if I even get that Primetime channel with my Sky Digital package. I guess I'll find out later.
I hope and think that Manny will win by KO.

Marquez was screwed. No way he lost that fight. Ripoff. Wouldn't surprise me if it was done purely and simply to force the Pac-Mayweather fight somewhat closer to reality. Palms must be greased etc.

I heard something a week or two ago about how Floyd had already reserved the MGM Grand for a date at the beginning of May next year, presumably for a fight with Pacquiao. So I guess we'll wait and see.
Manny has been in too many wars over the years and it's beginning to show. I think at this point Floyd would beat him on points without breaking a sweat.

WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jnr has told Manny Pacquiao that a May 5 showdown can be arranged just as soon as the Filipino agrees to drug testing procedures.
The American has identified the late spring date as the perfect time for his next bout, with high-profile boxers including Amir Khan and Saul Alvarez already making their case to be the boxer in the other corner for a fight that is likely to take place in Las Vegas.
But Pacquiao - who has long been regarded as the 34-year-old's strongest pound-for-pound rival - remains the preferred opponent for Mayweather, despite an underwhelming recent showing against Juan Manuel Marquez.
Mayweather claims he is ready to reach an agreement on a fight the minute Pacquiao submits to the random drug testing rules that have caused plenty of consternation between the two fighters over the past few years.
"I told him [Pacquiao] May 5 is open. Now you know me, to all the fans - May 5 is the date. Sign the contract!" Mayweather told FightHype.com. "I'm waiting. Now I can't be sitting waiting all day, now. You want a fight, let's make it happen.
"I'm here. I'm waiting. What's going on? You said you a clean athlete and you said you would take the tests and all that. Well let's do it."
If Pacquiao does not agree to the various stipulations, then it appears an unlikely name could be asked to fill the gap. Trainer Roger Mayweather reckons Marcos Maidana, who pushed Amir Khan all the way at the end of 2010, could be an interesting match-up - rather than the Bolton fighter, Alvarez or another Mexican, Erik Morales.
"I think he [Floyd] could probably fight ... it would be a Maidana. The one who beat [Victor] Ortiz," Mayweather said. "I think that would be a better match than fighting a Morales. He's an aggressive type of fighter and he has a win over a major fighter."
Former world champion turned promoter Oscar de la Hoya is tipping Mayweather to topple Pacquiao by knockout if the pair ever get together in the ring.
De la Hoya has a vested interest in any fight as his Golden Boy Promotions handles Mayweather's fights, and he feels it would be his man who would emerge victorious.
The American felt Pacquiao should have tasted defeat earlier this month, when he won a controversial points decision against Juan Manuel Marquez, and is convinced his luck would run out against the unbeaten Mayweather.
"It was a great fight [between Pacquiao and Marquez]," he told boxingscene.com. "It was a very close fight.
"Juan Manuel Marquez is a great fighter, but Mayweather has the style to to beat Pacquiao.
"And he will do it by knockout."
This fight is becoming the boxing equivalent of John Cena turning heel. Or Dr. Dre finally releasing his Detox album. I'll believe it when I see it. I agree with Oscar though. If it does happen, Mayweather will win. 2015 UPDATE: It's on!

We have two Football threads, a Hockey thread (I think) and a MMA thread; so why not have a boxing thread?
... I thought Carl Froch was awful last night. Ward definitely outboxed him.

From Mayweather's Twitter:
"Manny Pacquiao I'm calling you out let's fight May 5th and give the world what they want to see."
And now we wait for Pacquiao's reply. It could finally be happening!

Chisora is going to get killed by Vitali.

Dereck Chisora has been detained by police at Munich Airport after the bloody brawl with David Haye which followed his loss to Vitali Klitschko on Saturday night.
The 28-year-old was intercepted along with his trainer Don Charles at an airport check-in desk as part of an official investigation, with Haye also to be questioned about the remarkable scenes which unfolded after Chisora's unanimous points defeat to WBC heavyweight champion Klitschko.
Police said they were still searching for Haye, who was not present at his hotel when they arrived to question him.
"Police picked up Mr Chisora at the airport at approximately 10.30am (German time) and are bringing him in for the investigation," a police spokesman confirmed.
"They also picked up Mr Chisora's trainer for questioning.
"The Police went to the hotel to speak to them but we had been informed they had just checked out."
The spokesman added: "At present we do not know where Mr Haye is.
"We are currently looking for him. He was not at the hotel this morning and we have not seen him at the airport."
After losing a brave 12-round decision to Klitschko, Chisora mocked the onlooking Haye for his poor performance against Klitschko's brother Wladimir last year and tried to goad his rival into a future bout.
Chisora then confronted Haye during the press conference and the two men grappled around the room with onlookers and entourages getting involved. Chisora was seemingly heard making threats and claiming to have been "glassed".
Haye is then captured on film trading punches with Charles before swinging a large camera tripod over his head at the trainer. Moments later Chisora re-appears brandishing a glass bottle but is wrestled under control.
Haye's manager Adam Booth suffered a nasty cut on his forehead and also claimed to have been "glassed".
Police arrived as the incident calmed down and were on hand as Chisora eventually left the arena some time later.
After putting up a decent showing against Klitschko, Chisora and his promoter Frank Warren appeared to be trying to goad Haye into a high-profile fight between the two Londoners.
"David, you and me can get it on in London. Be quiet," Chisora said. "David Haye is an embarrassment. Sky Sports don't do Box Office because of David Haye. He messed up Box Office for all the young fighters and I'm going to give him two slaps for that.
"If David Haye is a fighter he should fight me. Let's fight, me and you."
"David, how's your toe?" Chisora repeatedly shouted at Haye, referring to the injury he blamed his loss to Wladimir Klitschko on.
Haye, ignoring a low-key win for Chisora last year, retorted: "You've had three losses in a row (sic)." Chisora then said: "Do you want to tell me to my face? Tell me to my face!"
Chisora then left the stage, approached Haye and went nose-to-nose before the brawl began which lasted at least five minutes.
While the Klitschkos stood and watched, Haye eventually left the scene while Booth, with blood running down his face, shouted at Chisora: "Derek, man-to-man, I want to know who glassed me. Someone hit me with a bottle."
Chisora answered: "Did you see me with a glass?"
Chisora was, in fact, seen with a bottle in his hand, but he was wrestled away by a security guard.
After being confronted by Booth, Chisora told Haye's trainer-manager: "If you and David want it (the fight), then we can do it. Either in the ring or outside the ring. You let me know. I want it.
"You tell him; his entourage has got nothing on my entourage. I'm going to find him. Your boy had a bottle."
Even by boxing's often chaotic standards the unsavoury incident was shocking, drawing gasps and cries of alarm as those involved fell about the room, knocking equipment over.
During the melee, Booth and Haye criticised the Ukrainians' manager Bernd Boente for not agreeing a fight between the Englishman and WBC champion Vitali.
After watching the unexpected drama unfold, Wladimir Klitschko said: "I'm totally disappointed, it went a little too far, the sport of boxing shouldn't be like that.
"Bloody faces in the press conference... fighting in the ring, not out. I'm really surprised."
Lol, so desperate. Two guys who lost their last fights and will never beat either of the Klitschko’s. This is the only way they can hope to make people interested in a fight between them.

Carl Froch: I've dragged out fights so that my family can win money
Carl Froch has heaped yet more controversy on British boxing by admitting he has deliberately prolonged fights so members of his family could benefit from betting.
A day after Dereck Chisora and David Haye dragged boxing to new depths with their post-fight brawl in a Munich press room, former two-time super-middleweight world champion Froch claims he has previously strung out fights in order for friends and family to profit.
Froch said he could have finished a fight with Ruben Groenewald earlier than he did during a Commonwealth title defence in 2005, but reckons he allowed the South African to survive in the fourth round because members of his family had money riding on him winning in the fifth.
Froch told the BBC: ‘I've done it more than one occasion and it was round five but that's not illegal.
‘I can say, "right, I'll stop this kid in round five". If I'm good enough to do that then fair enough.
‘I don't gamble but my brothers and my friends, they did quite well off it.
‘I can openly say that because if I'm good enough to step on the gas in round five and force the stoppage then that's my privilege, and that's what I did in this particular fight at the Arena for the Commonwealth title defence.
‘But the problem with that is I held him up in round four.
‘He was there for the taking and I held him up, I got him with a shot, I could have ended up getting done myself in round four.’
British boxing has really fallen on it's arse over the last couple of days.

Triple H was in Floyd Mayweather’s corner for his fight with Miguel Cotto in Vegas last night, along with 50 Cent and Justin Bieber (lol). He was selling the "broken left arm" following the Raw segment with Brock Lesnar last week. It was a good fight. I’m still bitter that this weekend was supposed to be Mayweather-Pacquiao though. Btw, I would not be surprised at all if WWE, since they’re obviously still on good terms with him, tries to set something up with Mayweather and Lesnar at some point. Boxing vs. MMA…in a wrestling ring/arena!

That is the weirdest entourage. Is Beiber trying to look like a little kid playing with his daddy's clothes?

David Haye and Dereck Chisora are set to fight on July 14 in London in a bout sanctioned by the Luxembourg Boxing Association.
Haye and Chisora clashed at a press conference in Munich in February after the latter lost a WBC title fight to Vitali Klitschko.
Chisora’s British boxing licence was suspended indefinitely by the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBC) following that incident but his manager Frank Warren has circumvented that problem by organising the fight through the Luxembourg Boxing Association (LBA).
While the move has many within the boxing community shaking their heads, Warren has been quick to back the LBA’s credentials.
"Before anyone starts screaming let me point out the Luxembourg Boxing Association was formed in 1922, seven years before the British board," Warren said.
“They have given their approval for the bout and it will go on at Upton Park under their jurisdiction.
“As fully fledged members of the European Boxing Union, that is what they are entitled to do.”
Warren clarified that because the BBBC never actually banned Chisora, he was free to apply for a boxing licence with another federation.
The LBA will have to supply all officials for the fight, while the promoters will be responsible for security, which is expected to be significant considering the two boxer’s bad relationship.
So, two of the biggest jokes in British boxing will fight for an association that nobody has heard of inside West Ham's football stadium. Does anybody even care? ... I didn't think so.
