#1 reason you shouldn't be a cocky bastard when you score a touchdown:
That was so not a touchdown. The officials obviously gave the kid a break since it was pre-season but if that was during the regular season or especially the playoffs or superbowl, that crap wouldn't fly. He needs to be humbled badly and giving him the touchdown certainly didn't do that.
Having said all that, it was a great run nonetheless.

Oh and I made this thread cause there were way too many random NFL threads and the season just started so I need a place to post my stuff.

American Football would be so much more appealing to me if there was a World Cup. But I guess the lack of American Football leagues outside of the US is a massive roadblock.

They play Gridiron Football in Australlia I believe... it's just not very popular. And I'm glad there isn't a world cup..... we'd lose

We have the British American Football Association, but I can only really name two teams off the top of my head; London Blitz and Lincolnshire Bombers. And the league isn't even on TV, but then again hardly any NFL gets coverage here. Only the odd game on Sky Sports and the Superbowl on both Sky Sports and BBC One.
And yeah, we invented football yet we still manage to lose every tournament.

Joe Flacco was amazing against the Rams. Plus he's attractive. I think I have a new favorite QB. It's just too hard to admit to being a fan of Big Ben anymore.

I watched that four times, because I kept not seeing what the big deal was. Then I notice his foot. Poor guy.

K, I need help from MC and Angelwings (and anyone else on the board that knows anything about the NFL)
On my fantasy team, my two QB's are Tom Brady and Mark Sanchez. I have no idea who to start.
Brady is fucking Brady but the Jets have the #1 Pass D. And the Pats passing D sucks major ass, but Sanchez has had more bad games than Brady. Who would you start?
I was 100% sure I wanted to start Sanchez but everyone in my league keeps giving me shit. I haven't won a game in 6 damn weeks and my opponent has Michael Bush who went off on Thursday. I just want to win damn it lol.

Definitely Brady.

Brady gives you a better chance at a really big game because he's a far superior QB. And I think he can work underneath to the TE's and RB's here. But the Pats WR's won't do much given that they are mediocre to start with and the Jets have a tough secondary.
Sanchez is strictly okayish as QB's go but everyone is putting up big pass numbers against the Pats defense lately. And Mark has the better big play personnel to go to.
On a lark, I'd actually lean Sanchez I think. Despite not having much confidence in him. I think the Pats run as an elite squad is coming to an end. Of course, tunrovers are always a thing that can undo a formula that looks good on paper.

I really really wanted to go with Sanchez but in the end I was down by 70 points so I threw in Brady. I really need this win. If I lose this week, I can never lose again or I'm out of the playoffs.
But tomorrow I have Jordy Nelson, Mason Crosby, and the Packers D so I have a pretty good cushion to fall back on. I just need Brady to catch me up.
Now watch Sanchez go off.

If it makes you feel better, I was doing fine until I accepted a trade getting Big Ben in exchange for Flacco. I haven't won since. I'm pretty sure he's cursed.

Looks like you made the right decision with Brady.
