So what did you guys think of Cody Rhodes audition to become a member of your beautiful people? lol
Cody Rhodes is really starting to get good in the ring and on the mic. I just wish he'd put on some f***ing kneepads. I always thought he was way better than Ted and this split has kinda proved that. It's all opinion of course, but whereas Ted is growing more and more boring, Cody is growing more and more entertaining. I can never see him winning a world title (anytime soon anyways) but I could definitely see him having a very entertaining Intercontinental title run.
And on a side note, I'd much rather see Cody with Kelly Kelly or something than Ted with Maryse. Whoever thought of that pairing should be fired. They have absolutely zero chemistry. And besides, Maryse is supposed to be with Miz and only Miz. Kelly should go heel and pair with Cody. It would help him get over.

This sounds awful, but I’m glad Cody’s on Smackdown now and I don’t have to watch him walk awkwardly to the ring each week.
Kelly attempting to play a heel would be hilarious. As would Maryse as a babyface. I hope to see both attempt those roles at some point, even if it's just briefly. Kelly acting like a bitch or Maryse running out to make the Babyface Diva Save™ would be so weird.

Kelly acting like a bitch or Maryse running out to make the Babyface Diva Save™ would be so weird. Kelly can barely muster a scowl, and the mere thought of Maryse as a face is terrifying, imo. Maybe it's the shamelessly fake pops on Smackdown that put me off faces, but I start to lose interest once Divas lose their edge. See: Melina (lol), Mickie, Angelina Love (sorry girl), and (at the time) Candice. The only Divas I probably ever preferred as faces are Torrie and Kelly. imo, there are few who have pulled both off convincingly for me. That's mostly the fault of Divas not being given the opportunity to become developed characters. I can't think of one face Diva that doesn't fall flat for me at the moment. Some Superstars even have trouble pulling it off without being cheesy. That's just my opinion. |

Maryse would probably be reduced to Eve’s smiling, jobbing tag team partner or something. I have faith that she could pull it off and make it work though, but who am I kidding, even if she didn’t, like HBK, Trish etc, Maryse has long since reached the point for me where I pretty much can see no wrong in anything she does, lol. |

I don't mind Cody Rhodes. He's a good wrestler (a bit oversellous) and I think he's good on the mic. His looks blow hot and cold for me, but in a recent article on WWE.com Maryse declared him the best looking Superstar, so I guess that's the official stamp of approval on that. I also enjoyed watching his torrid romance with Randy Orton develop last year. |

As for the Kelly and Maryse face debate, Kelly played a heel for like five minutes in ECW and it was lulz worthy. "Layla...mind your own business...ugh." Very Napolean Dynamite-esque. Maryse on the other hand, I think would make as good of a babyface as she does a heel. She played a very affectionate and caring face in OVW. Maryse has a way of bringing everything she does to life, so she would never be one of those one dimensional babyface's who just smile and wave and get beat up.

Wotcher guys.
I love it. Although I don't think Cody is genuinely arrogant. He'd be much better playing the meek, sensitive good guy.
I always thought Kelly and Brooke would be the heels following Extreme Exposé.
Maryse and Ted suck together. I get the logic in pairing her with the blandest person on the roster not named Matt Hardy, but still.
Maryse would be weird as a face.
