I just listened to the whole album. It's amazing. Definitely lives up to the hype. My fav tracks are Moment 4 Life, Roman's Revenge & Dear Old Nicki.

It's my favorite also. Probably the one song on the album that comes close to being as deep as "Autobiography."

You were right about Last Chance. That song is whack. I'm just gonna pretend the album ends after track 12 so I never have to hear that one again.

Edit: I should mention that I've always hated Natasha Bedingfield, so it's no surprise I can't stand that song.

I'm blowin' up this post, but as I mentioned earlier... I finally got my pretty, manicured hands on Pink Friday and gave it a full listen. None of the songs stuck with me, but was pretty good. I guess I expected more rapping on the album, but I understand why Nicki would want to present herself differently to her already established fans and appeal to a more pop/mainstream audience. My favorite song on the album would probably be "Blow Ya Mind." The hook reminds me of Prince's "Darling Nikki." Coincidence?

Overall, I'd say it's a pretty decent album (but I still prefer her collabs). I give it 3 pink stars out of 5.


I probably won't listen to it all the way through again any time soon. My attention span can't take it.

Truthfully, there's only 4 or 5 songs that will have any longevity for me.

I just listened to the bonus tracks also, I don't know how Blow Ya Mind and Girls Fall Like Dominoes didn't make the final cut.

1. I love Nicki and all but I’m not sure how I feel about being one of her “Barbz” or “Kenz.” I hope she comes up with a better name for her fans before her next album is released.

Nicki Minaj has finally made an official response to Lil' Kim.

While Kim has made no secret of her distaste for the Young Money emcee, Nicki Minaj has remained more guarded about overtly dissing Kim, preferring thinly-veiled subliminals in songs such as "Roman's Revenge" and "Monster."

In an interview with Angie Martinez, when asked about Kim, Nicki was more forthcoming than she had been in the past. "[Kim] just really jumped out the window. You gotta be really careful when you pick fights...I think people get me mistaken with a real Barbie. They forget where I'm from. And if I have to [respond], I can and I will. Don't play with me. It's one of those moments when you say, 'Don't play with me.'"

Minaj, who claimed Kim as an influence earlier in the interview, continued: "I respect you, I love you, I've said it in every interview time and time again. And if that's not good enough [for] you, mama, that's something deep-rooted in you. You need to get your -- something is bothering you inside. That's your insecurity bothering you. It's not Nicki Minaj, it would've been any girl that started poppin'. She picked a fight with Foxy, then she picked a fight with Eve, then she picked a fight with Remy, then it was Mrs. Wallace, then it was Nicki Minaj! Everytime you in the news, it's because you gettin' at somebody! Where is your music? ...When I see your name on Billboard, that's when I'll respond to you."

Don't make me dig up those reviews for Jonah Hex. No really, don't. I still like to talk myself into thinking that Megan has been in good movies other than Jennifer's Body. It could be quite the rude awakening for me.

How did Megan & Nicki come to be the latest rivals here anyway? I'm fairly certain I didn't start this one. Although I never can be sure these days.

You can't make me choose between them anyway. That would just be unfair. An impossibility. Like pitting Maryse & Kelly against each other and forcing me to pick a side. Or Velvet & Angelina. Or Malfunkshun & B Fizzle. It just can't be done.
