It wasn't so long ago that Impact, flaws and all, was still pretty cool. But in terms of having a sensible direction, it might as well be a lifetime ago.

Tara and Tessmacher... Really?
I really think Velvet getting her title match interrupted is a foreshadowing that she'll get a proper one and will actually walk away with the belt.
At least Magnus is on Xplosion.

At least Magnus is on Xplosion. I hope that is true about Velvet. But there is no gurantee with Impact Wrestling that she will win the title if she did get another shot at it. But we will see.

Tara and Tessmacher... Really? I think they're giving Sarita time off because she suffered from facial paralysis. Hence why she was wrestling in a mask. Tara and Miss Tessmacher wouldn't be my first thought for a replacement either, but it's TNA's own fault for not having tag teams in their Knockout tag team division.

Tessmacher & Velvet or ODB & Jackie would have been better choices. I thought about ODB and Jackie too. If they were Knockout tag team champions, that would give them a reason to be at the iMPACT Zone every week. Though, I guess they didn't feel like explaining how they got a title shot in the first place. And Velvet's tiptoeing on the Knockout's title scene and feuding with the unemployed line, so being tag champ would only busy her already hectic storyline.

I'm glad Velvet didn't win the KO tag titles with Tessmacher because those titles seem to be cursed. I just wish Velvet's angle with ODB & Jackie would have ended last week. Because I don't want her to waste anymore time on them for the rest of this summer.
Also if TNA really wants to be real about this they should flat out say that ODB quit last year which had nothing to do with Velvet. As for Jacqueline she was released over 2 years ago and wasn't even wrestling anymore she managing Beer Money. So them blaming Velvet for their "firing" is just dumb.
That sucks about Sarita having facial paralysis. I hope she makes a full recovery.

If they had to transition the belts from Sarita and Rosita because of Sarita's health, now would have been a good time to bring in Las Gringas Locas (Rain and Jennifer Blake.)
They were the only formal womens tag team I can think of that can shit talk close to classic Beautiful People level. (Save maybe Lacey and Rain, and Lacey is semi-retired.) And the best chance of making anyone care about those crappy belts.

Impact spoilers for this week.
Sucks that Angelina and Velvet aren't going to be wrestling this week.
Also what ODB said is bullshit.

Sucks that Angelina and Velvet aren't going to be wrestling this week. Also what ODB said is bullshit. Plus no real action from Roode or Storm. No Pope. Abyss talking. And ample amounts of Immortal. IOW, all the traits of a wasted week. I hope tomorrow's spoilers are better.

I'm sick of Hogan, Bischoff, Jarrett and JB saying they love the UK fans and thanking us for keeping them above WWE in the ratings but they rarely put our boys on TV. Why should we keep helping them out if they keep shitting on us?

Impact spoilers for next week. These came out quicker than the ones from yesterday.
What's up with all the roll ups! That's just lazy booking.
I don't know what to say about Devon pinning AJ.
The Pope finally got some points which good but this Joe losing streak is pretty sad.
Where is Velvet? After cutting a promo like that and walking away there is no follow up. Though I'm sure the people who don't like her should be happy she won't appear next week.
Angelina got to make appearance so that's good.
I would think they would have saved Austin Aries vs Alex Shelley for Hardcore Justice.
It's obvious RVD is going to be one of the final 4 for the match at No Surrender.
At least Doug Williams beat Hernandez.

I'm hoping for a Magnus/Williams final but Crimson is still in the tournament, isn't he?

I'm hoping for a Magnus/Williams final but Crimson is still in the tournament, isn't he? Yes Crimson is still in the tournament. So if he doesn't win the BFG series he will probably win the Xplosion championship.
