-In the finals of the Wildcard Tag Team Tournament, Samoa Joe and Magnus defeated AJ Styles and Kazarian when Magnus pinned AJ. Christopher Daniels came out during the match which distracted Kazarian to where he missed a tag from AJ. I don't think Magnus and Joe will win the tag belts but Magnus appearing on Impact almost every week this month, pinning AJ and getting a match on PPV is great. Hopefully this is the beginning of some kind of push for him.

Sir Brutus Magnus vs Matt Morgan for the Ring Ka King championship. During the intoductions by JB (which was interestingly enough done in kilos instead of pounds), Jarrett appeared in the crowd claiming to have a ticket. Soon after the match began, he appeared in front of the announce table and clapped, distracting Morgan enough for Magnus to capitalize. The action went to the outside with Magnus hitting Morgan's head against the barrier. The action returned to the ring as Magnus stayed in control through the majority of the match. It then came to a sleeper hold by Magnus, only for Morgan gets his hand up before 3 and come back into the match. Morgan went for the chokeslam, but it was avoided by Magnus only to get clotheslined. Morgan gets the chokeslam this time. Some Indian guy I didn't recognise distracted Morgan. The Indian police character then returned and hit Morgan with a baton while the ref was distracted. Magnus then hit the Mag Driver on Morgan and gets the 3 count. Magnus becomes the new Ring Ka King Champion. Jarrett then enters the ring and puts the championship on Magnus' shoulders. The police character guy celebrates with them to suggest that he was bought off by Jarrett, and Dutt, Steiner and Abyss join in the celebration. Some Indian wrestlers try to enter the ring but are attacked by the bunch and thrown out. Harbhajan Singh's music hits and he comes out with a cricket bat in hand leading to Jarrett and co. leaving the ring. Harbhajan says in Hindi that it was a mistake to give him a second chance, and that soon he would take his wicket. Magnus celebrates with the championship on the ramp as they leave.
Not a spoiler for TNA but for a show that's owned by TNA. Magnus wins his first singles title, but it's some shitty Indian one. Hopefully this means they're pushing him in the US.

I don't understand the point of making a new show for another country. Shouldn't they be using these resources to improve the overall quality of Impact?
Anyway good for Magnus. I think they are finally pushing him.

I'm pretty sure outside investors are paying for most of it. TNA might aswell do it, it's not like their American show is ever going to get better.

-Eric Bischoff cuts a promo in the ring talking about his history and running down Garett Bischoff. Garett comes to the rings and claims he is different from Eric. He said that he is grateful to those that have helped him. He reveals that he is being trained by someone. Garett shoved Eric down before leaving the ring.
-ODB defeated Winter. Eric Young and Angelina Love accompanied their partners to the ring. When Love tried to get involved, Young put her in the Airplane Spin.
-AJ Styles is in the ring and calls out Kazarian. AJ wants to know why Kazarian turned on him last week but Kazarian can't tell him. Daniels comes out and runs down AJ saying he has been weak since losing to him. Kazarian leaves the ring when AJ goes after Daniels. Kazarian breaks things up to end the segment.
-James Storm is in the ring and calls out Kurt Angle. James Storm talks about how at Genesis, he lost because Angle cheated. After going back and forth, Sting comes out and announces that the winner of Jeff Hardy vs Bobby Roode will face the winner of James Storm and Kurt Angle. Angle tries to reject the idea saying he isn't ready but Sting says he better get ready because the match is next.
-James Storm defeated Kurt Angle with the Last Call. Storm is the new #1 Contender.
-Bobby Roode vs Jeff Hardy for the World Title went to a draw when Bully Ray came out and pulled Roode from the ring. Before the match it was announced that if Roode cheated, he would lose the title.
January 19th IMPACT Wrestling -Gunner defeated AJ Styles after interference from Kazarian and Christopher Daniels. Gunner went to DDT AJ into the concrete after the match but AJ fought out of it and ran off Gunner.
-Crimson defeated Magnus with his finisher. After the match Samoa Joe attacked Crimson when Morgan came out for the save. Magnus and Joe got the upperhand on the champs and beat them down again.
-James Storm comes to the ring for a promo and talks about being the new #1 Contender. He is interrupted by Jeff Hardy who also thinks he is the number one contender. They go back and forth and get physical when they are interrupted by Bobby Roode. Roode says that since there was no winner last week, Storm doesn't get his title shot and because Hardy didn't beat him he doesn't get a title shot. They are interrupted by Sting who announces that Jeff Hardy will face James Storm in a #1 Contender Match with the winner getting Bobby Roode at Against All Odds.
Xplosion -Jesse Sorensen defeated Zema Ion
-Velvet Sky defeated Angelina Love ================================================= Good to see Angelina used again. On the spoilers I read at Diva Dirt it said that Velvet beat Angelina not Winter. So I wonder which one is right. At least Angelina will be on Impact but looks like Velvet won't.
Though I hope Velvet does have some sort of backstage segment on Impact that wasn't mentioned. Because I want to know what's going to happen with her is she going to be the new VP of the Knockouts and is she going to get a rematch for the Knockout title. I want some follow up on this.
EDIT It was Velvet vs Angelina. Though I wonder why this is on Xplosion instead of Impact. But hopefully this means they get more time for their match.

Angelina deserves better. Please get her away from Winter. That pairing has been an example of ample on paper ability that doesn't pan out. Creative just doesn't seem to have a clue. Tara's getting the next Knockout title shot! Really?! It's TNA and Gail dominated her upon Kim's return, so it's par for the course. Chances are whoever won would lose anyway, so maybe it's just as well. I haven't watched TNA in a long time. Is Angelina still brainwashed by Winter? She's not zombie-fied anymore. (Which was a bad move for her TNA career.) It's more of a traditional partnership thing lately.

That sucks Velvet doesn't get her rematch. So I was right about them only using her image on the Against All Odds poster just to sell the PPV. SMH
At this point Angelina & Velvet should just reform TBP again. But then again TNA would just do something stupid and break them up again.

2. Austin Aries beat Mark Haskins. Aries won via submission.
3. Robert Roode beat James Storm. Roode nailed Storm with a Spear and won the match. Bully Ray interfered without the referee seeing. Post-match, Bully Ray nailed Storm with the title belt. Sting runs down and makes the save to chase off Bully and Roode.
Eric Bischoff hits the ring and calls out Garrett. Garrett will reveal his trainer later. The crowd are all over this segment with ‘BORING’ and ‘F**K OFF BISCHOFF’ chants.
4. (Non-title) Tara beat Gail Kim. Tara beat Kim with a Widow’s Peak after Madison Rayne botched her interference.
5. James Storm beat Bully Ray. Robert Roode and Sting were both ringside. Sting was ringside with a cricket bat! Storm won with a Last Call Superkick on Bully.

6. Christopher Daniels beat AJ Styles. Kazarian was ringside with Daniels and passed him some brass knuckles. Daniels nailed him with the knucks to get the win.
February 9

Sting hits the ring with his cricket bat and announces himself to be the special guest enforcer for the PPV match! Sting also reveals a main event tag match: Bully and Roode vs. James Storm and Sting!
1. (Non-title) Alex Shelley beats Alex Shelley and Doug Williams. Shelley pinned Aries to get the win after hitting with Sliced Bread. Williams did land his rolling German suplex (Chaos Theory) in the match which pleased the crowd.
Samoa Joe and Magnus cut a promo about how they will win the Tag Team Championship at Against All Odds. Magnus and Joe are both over with the crowd and Magnus claims at one point ‘This Is England!’ Crimson and Matt Morgan hit the ring and give the number 1 contenders a quick beat down. Joe and Magnus manage to escape without too much damage.
2. Velvet Sky beat Mickie James. Sky beat James with a roll-up.
Garrett Bischoff hit the ring with his trainer Hulk Hogan. Hogan asked the fans to show Garrett some support, but he was interrupted by Eric Bischoff and Gunner. Eric asks Hogan what right he has to get involved and Hogan tells Eric it’s about doing the right thing. Hogan has spoken with Sting and at Against All Odds, Garrett will face Gunner. A brawl ensues and Eric hits Hogan with a low blow! As Gunner is beating down on Garrett, Hogan recovers and clears house. Garrett finishes the segment by nailing his Dad.
3. Sting and James Storm beat Robert Roode and Bully Ray. The London crowd loved Sting and there were a lot of ‘You’re a Legend’ chants.
They’ll likely insert backstage segments, etc. to fill in the time.
Live notes 1. Professional cyclist Mark Cavendish was in attendance at the event. 2. There were fans chanting ‘We Want EY’. Eric Young was not in attendance. 3. The London crowd loved Samoa Joe. 4. Garrett Bischoff was heavily booed, so it’ll be interesting to see how it appears on TV. 5. Mark Haskins looks like he may have suffered a concussion in his match. He missed a Shooting Star Press.

I read on Divadirt that the crowd supposely turned on Velvet doing her match with Mickie. I hope this isn't true because I have a hard time believing that. Anyway I'm glad to read that Gail lost and that Velvet got a win over Mickie.
