Yeah, but that's cheating.
I like to make Maryse the most "over" person on the roster the old fashioned way. By booking her to win every match and shoving her down fans throats in every other segment. They'll like what I tell them to like.

Changing overness and skills in the editor is cheating. Changing gimmicks is just part of the game because you can do that whilst playing...

Yeah, but you can’t give everyone a “unique” gimmick without cheating. That’s only available to the top guys like Cena, Undertaker etc. That’s what I always thought anyway.

On my first save most of the roster got to "unique" in a matter of months. It's inevitably going to happen to everyone, so why not just assign it to everyone from the start? |

Honestly, I never get past the first month or so anyway. I always get bored and start again if the people I like aren't getting over as well as I hoped. Hey, I never claimed I wasn't fickle.

Lol, if you can't get someone over in a fair way then just stick in a feud with someone high up and have them win every single match until eventually it's like 12-0. They'll get a ton of overness.

The method I used to always use to get Maryse or any other diva over was to have them beat Mickie James all the time. For some reason, she was incredibly popular even if you kept jobbing her out. This was like 2 years ago though when I last played regularly, I don't know if she's still like that.

Yeah, Mickie James used to have the Cheerleader gimmick in all the stats, and that was one of the magical gimmicks which gives the wrestler overness points for every appearance that they make. The others were Gay and whichever one Rhyno had, iirc.

So I started a new game with the August updates and made a couple changes right off the bat that could turn some boring things entertaining irl.
I scrapped NXT and moved Superstars to Tuesday. And I made the Thursday show WWE Divas. An all diva show with Vickie as the GM. And I made every diva a part of that roster. (Though the good ones will still appear on Raw and SD) The debut episode seen the return of Candice Michelle and the debuts of Rima Fakih and Lacey Von Erich.
So I just eliminated boring ass NXT and gave the Diva division more life and screen time. The NXT guys can just debut on Superstars like everyone used to on Heat.
The second small change I made was I broke up Otunga and McGillicutty by having McG turn on Otunga and join up with Ted DiBiase to do that Fortunate Sons thingy. (I also changed his name to Joe Hennig) Then made Otunga turn face and team with Darren Young as the South Beach Party Boys. They are currently fighting Hennig and DiBiase for the belts and in my head come out to Darren Youngs song:
So I broke up one boring ass tag team and made two slightly entertaining ones.
Both these things should and could easliy happen irl (minus the fantasy Candice, Lacey, Rima thing probably)
It would greatly help both the Divas and Tag divisions and make the shows less boring.

I just started a new game with WWE to pass the time. I scrapped NXT & Superstars, because I can't be bothered to run four shows every week. I fired most of the development guys, because I really don't need. I also fired almost everyone I don't like/need. I've signed The Beautiful People, Archibald Peck, Becky Bayless, The British Invasion, Bad Intentions, Samoa Joe, and Vader. EDIT: I also deleted Edge, Austin & The Rock from the system, because I won't use them, and I don't want other companies to pick them up  EDIT AGAIN: Fuck! I forgot to add Foley to my roster. Now I can't do a feud with Ambrose. |
