Babe of the Year 2011 - Official Announcement

Since it was such a hit last year (Jesus Christ[iano] that was a year ago already?) and it was one of, if not the sole reason I was invited to this forum in the first place, then I have no choice but to bring it back!



Starting Monday, October 4th I will post a match-up every Monday through Saturday anytime between 12pm and 8pm (Pacific) depending on what time I work that day. The match will remain open for 24 hours, at which time the diva with the most votes will be declared the winner and move onto the next round blah blah blah and yadda yadda yadda... The finals will begin on November 13th and be open for 48 hours, you will be able to vote for the finals twice (once a day).

But now it's time for the 2nd announcement. In honor of the Beautiful People, this year we will have a second tournament going on side by side with the diva BotY tournament:













Yes, since 1234 ripped me off last year I'm ripping him off this year and stealing his tournament. We will have a superstar BotY tournament using superstars from both WWE and TNA. The Tournament will be a little longer due to the amount of superstars there are. Not every superstar will be in it though, just the pretty boys. There will be a wildcard round BEFORE the tournament begins however to determine the final 10 participants in case I leave any favorites out of the tournament.

So that's it people, October 4th. Let's all have fun again, and remember, it's just a game.

Just did the math, there will be a total of 60 Superstars in the male bracket, 13 of which will be determined by Pre-Tourny Wildcard round, and 36 Divas/Kockouts in the Diva bracket. The Diva tournament will end on November 15th, while the Superstar tournament will end all the way on December 13th. Yikes.

Last year the finals were Maryse v. Velvet Sky v. Mickie James. (I do a three way final, makes it more interesting and less one sided.) Maryse beat Mickie 15-14 while Velvet only recieved 4 votes. Wasn't too epic for poor ol' Velvet, lol.

Maryse’s reign as BotY has been a glorious one. May the best woman/man win and represent this prestigious competition as well as she has. Of course if I have my way, she won’t be relinquishing her crown so easily and we may very well have our first 2x BotY winner. Just stating my intentions early, lol.

In the event of a tie or if 12 superstars are not selected, I will fill in the gaps myself.

The WILDCARD voting will be open for 2 weeks, but you can only nominate a Superstar once. You can add more superstars to your list at anytime until Sep 25th.
Any Superstar that returns or debuts before the cut off date is also eligible. You may add any male performer who is not listed as long as they are employed by either WWE or TNA.
