Tonight is the big night! No, I’m not talking about John Cena being forced to join Nexus (SPOILER: he‘s not really turning heel). Or that Johnny Knoxville is the guest host (this could have been cool. 8 years ago). Or even the fact that this will be the first time I’ve watched RAW live in a while (I‘m sure I‘ve missed a great deal of quality, high brow programming). No, I’m of course referring to the grand payoff to the Maryse/Teddy secret admirer storyline. You know, the thing that has been going on for like 3 whole weeks now.
Place your bets here on how this will play out. My expectations are as low as humanly possible. I’m thinking some dumb attempt at comedy with Goldust or (*shudders*) Hornswoggle being involved. Possibly even Ted is the recipient of the letters, and not Maryse. Hopefully they’ll surprise us and make it a little bit more of a big deal than that though. I miss the days when the likes of Stephanie, Trish, Lita etc were involved in real, high profile storylines away from the divas division. Maryse, more than any of the other divas, could easily pull off that kind of stuff.

First of all, I believe the admirer is after Maryse. My theory is supported by the lack of female talent in FCW that could be called up, as well as them not putting this much effort (as little as it is) into a Divas feud. It'll be another man, most likely Hornswoggle or Kahli. Goldust is a possibility as well, but I doubt it, he's tied up with that Aksana chick. What I personally would love to see happen, is the admirer being revealed as Brett DiBiase, Theodore's younger, prettier brother. They can feud over Maryse and shower her with gifts in the process of trying to win her over.
That Alejandro guy or whatever on SmackDown! could be a possibility as well.

Yes. That could work. Then of course Maryse ditches them both and finally hooks up with Miz just in time for his first World title reign.
Burke’s fantasy booking for this whole deal: Maryse’s secret admirer is the RAW mystery GM, who is then revealed to be none other than a returning Triple H, leading to a Maryse v Stephanie fued.
On second thought though…Maryse in a high profile storyline…Triple H’s long awaited (by me, anyway) return...Stephanie back on screen…Maryse and Steph screaming and trashing each other in promos…yeah, this would all be just too much awesome for me to handle. Probably better they play it a little more low-key.

Your Miz idea sounds toasty. I'm gonna go with that.

I hope you're right. Maryse & Miz were just meant to be an on-screen couple.
I know you could argue that Miz is so over that he doesn't really need a manager, but HHH didn't really need Stephanie back in the day either, same with Edge with Lita. It just enhanced their act and made them all the more awesome.

Macho Man didn't need Miss Elizabeth, but when you think of him you think of her (and his stellar rap career). They don't need each other, but why not pair them together to enhance each other? It's just natural. They should do the same with Melina and Morrison, tbh.

lol, whatever happened to Val's little TNA run? I remember him playing strip poker against the Beautiful People, and not much else.
