I just saw something recently that there’s a streak of the person who loses the second match on the card at WM getting a World title shot at their next PPV.
WM 29 – Ryback lost to Mark Henry then faced John Cena for the WWE title at Extreme Rules.
WM 30 – Kane got squashed by The Shield then faced Daniel Bryan for the WWE title at Extreme Rules.
WM 31 – Seth Rollins lost to Randy Orton but then won the WWE title later in the night so went into the next PPV as champion.
WM 32 – AJ Styles lost to Chris Jericho then faced Roman Reigns for the WWE title at Payback.
WM 33 – Jinder Mahal was the last eliminated in the battle royal then faced Randy Orton for the WWE title at Backlash.
The last one kinda throws it off since it was the second match on the pre-show and not the main card like the others but still, close enough, I’ll allow it.
So whoever loses in match 2 of the night can probably look forward to their main event push next month.

Omg it's getting lamer. My poor eyes are going to be feeling the pain at the massive roll coming their way when Taker's music hits and Cena comes over the barricade. I've been waiting 9 years for this shit. If it finally happens and he ends up wrestling in street clothes like it's a bum-ass Dean Ambrose street fight I'd rather it not happen at all.  I'm hoping a spooky Taker video opens the show and the match takes place a while later. Who does everyone think will have the best special WM attire? |

I just saw that Bray Wyatt went from the WWE title match last year to not even on the show this year (well maybe he'll pop up in the battle royal). Meanwhile, the other Wyatt Family members are on the main card in title matches. |
