Maybe I made it up but I remember reading on a women's wrestling forum that the two battle royals and one other match I can't remember are on the pre.

I feel like it's not that much of a stretch to say that Sasha and some of the others are at least on level with the tag teams and some of the assorted midcarders and yet they can't even get a non title Mania match (Rhonda doesn't count).

Until yesterday morning, I thought Sasha vs. Bayley had already been confirmed, I was shocked to see them both listed as participants in the battle royal. I have no idea why they're not giving them a singles match.

Sasha and Bayley have been so mishandled for months. They kept holding off on turning Sasha and having them feud because they wanted it to be at a big event. Now we’re here and there’s no room for them on the card and their feud just need to be gotten over with anyway because they’ve been teasing it for far too fucking long for us to care.

The ridiculous part is that part of me wants to bet that after Mania they'll be best friends again because WWE still won't want to commit to a Sasha heel turn.
If Charlotte and Asuka are on SmackDown then I hardly see them committing to Nia or Bayley as top face long term, so unless they do something exciting and actually have Alexa and Sasha change sides...

 This is a weird card for me. On paper there looks like there could be a bunch of high quality in-ring matches but I don't really care about any of them. I'm looking forward to some little things like seeing if Braun has a cool partner and Nia hopefully squashing Alexa and of course whatever the hell is happening with Taker/Cena. Mostly I'm just here for the WM atmosphere and aesthetic though. I'm convinced 90% of the reason I liked last year was because of the awesome set. |

Batista said he was offered the spot as Ronda’s partner. And we know they’d have had The Rock do it if they could.
