As if RAW weren't already the heavy favourites for that match.

Jinder Mahal not having a match at Survivor Series after being WWE Champion for so long is bizarre. Like I know he'll probably be involved in the Lesnar/AJ match, but this has got to be the biggest fall from being champion since Chris Jericho lost the Undisputed Championship to Triple H at WrestleMania X8 and was absent from Backlash the following month.

To me the entire build up has been weird. I may be in the minority, but I didn’t like that all of the weeks leading up to Survivor Series were about simply picking the teams. It didn’t leave much room for build up, beyond just Raw vs. SmackDown. Charlotte winning the title and replacing Nattie last minute, and it not even mattering since Nattie and Alexa didn’t have any build up either, is a mess.

So do SD have a chance in hell in either elimination match? They look so outmatched. The weird thing is SD usually wins these type of matches but I can't see it this year.
Shield/New Day, Charlotte/Alexa and Lesnar/Styles are all pretty big matches on paper yet have had zero build. Well I guess Shield/New Day had like 10 days.
Despite that, I'm still looking forward to it. I have a feeling this will be a great show.

SmackDown will win the men's elimination match via Jason Jordan accidentally (or not so accidentally, I don't know) costing Raw the match.

I was thinking that Owens and Zayn would screw over Team SD, although I guess it could just be Shane they hit near the start of the match without it affecting the actual finish.

Updated the OP, which is now almost completely different. They even changed the logo. 💀

The fact that they haven't announced Nattie as Charlotte's replacement on Team SmackDown makes me think it might be Paige after all.
But it'll be a mess for her to lose on her first match back, cause you know Asuka ain't gettin eliminated.

But it'll be a mess for her to lose on her first match back, cause you know Asuka ain't gettin eliminated. Wins and losses don't really matter in these types of matches. The Undertaker was eliminated in his debut match, and just last year Braun Strowman was eliminated because of James Ellsworth. The only thing that matters is who survives, and it means a lot more when they're the sole survivor (like Randy Orton). If Paige does return on Sunday, and Team SmackDown does lose, then by Tuesday everybody would have forgotten about it.

In the match graphics for the two elimination matches WWE has the blue background behind the RAW teams and the red background for SD.

Okay, so we're all assuming that Paige is the fifth member of the team, and that's pretty much a given, but what if she takes Carmella's spot instead? What if Carmella cashes in on Charlotte earlier in the night, satisfying their need for a screwjob angle, and then leaves the arena, leaving Team SmackDown high and dry. Natalya agrees to join the team, but that still leaves them one member short. They're set to start the match 4-on-5, but Paige's music hits and she makes her way out to make up the numbers.
