There was a rumor yesterday that Nia Jax walked out of Raw on Monday night, similar to Neville the week before. At first I took it with a grain of salt, but now that neither Nia or WWE have denounced the rumor, it's being said that she was granted a leave of absence.
I can't imagine that Nia would just walk out, because she wasn't booked that badly, and she seems to get along great with her coworkers and just got added to Total Divas, so I wonder if she has some personal issue going on? 🤔
But I guess everything happens for a reason, so maybe it's a blessing she might miss Asuka's squash tour, and then can return when Asuka's on top as an epic challenger for her. 😭

I'm coming off of 4 days spent with my cousins. All male, straight, and under 30. There wasn't an hour without some sort of dick joke. I'm still recalibrating.

My theory is that she wanted to change her ring gear to something more flattering that may have showed more skin, but somebody in the back denied her request for a typical WWE reason like - "Nobody wants to see that." or "Nobody finds Nia Jax sexy." - which would obviously cause offence and result in her walking out. It's the only thing I can think of, because she doesn't seem like the sort of person who would get upset with booking decisions.
So, yeah, it's either this or she's finally sick of the harassment she gets from Byron Saxton.

I hope you stretched before that reach. I don't know, it kinda makes sense to me. She's an advocate for body positivity, and a lot of WWE higher ups have been known to say nasty things about the way women look in the past. (Like Vince McMahon putting a halt to a storyline romance between Cody Rhodes and Kaitlyn when the Bella Twins rejoined the company because, "If one of the Bellas showed interest in Cody, why would he ever look at Kaitlyn again?"). Again, she doesn't seem like somebody to get frustrated by booking decisions, so it's likely not that. She very well could be injured, but why wouldn't they report that, unless it was a concussion, I guess. I know my theory isn't based on any real facts, but man, when have facts ever been important to any of us when speculating on these kind of stories? |
