I agree. I understand why they do yearly titles, but I'm sure if given maybe an extra year in between games, it wouldn't feel like the same game. After last years game, I've been trying to convince myself to hold out on the next one, unless under the rare circumstance that it actually proves itself worth buying at full price.

The trailer was leaked, but I think Jay will be pleased with the cover. idk how long it'll be up, so if that gets taken down you might have to look around for it.

So the Revolution thing was for WWE '13, and not for a new superstar? I'm glad I didn't get involved in the hype on that one.
Oh, if you don't know, this could be the last WWE game that's made by THQ. There's rumours of THQ going bust, and they've already sold some of their departments. If this is the last one for a while, I hope they go out on a high.

Though it could be a good thing if someone else picks it up, things could be changed up. That's not to say the games are bad now, but the last two games have pretty much been the same.

WWE Universe 3.0: The fan-favorite WWE Universe mode returns, giving you more control over WWE than ever before. Your choices determine your destiny as you dynamically shape your schedules, television shows, and rosters, and form alliances and make enemies on your way to the top.
Predator Technology 3.0: With new animations, transitions, and modified controls built on the Predator Technology™ game engine, WWE ’13 will deliver strategic, fluid, and fun WWE action that plays more smoothly than any prior WWE game.

So far, confirmed players include: Steve Austin, The Undertaker, CM Punk, Sheamus, Mankind, Big Show, Mark Henry and Chris Jericho. Damn them for adding that beautiful Attitude Era arena. That's all I'm going to use now lol. Hate the new stages. With a passion.
K, and side note, from this point on, anyone that says "it's just the same game as last year" is a total twat. (If someone quotes me saying that somewhere Ima cyber bitch slap you. I said from this point on) Of course it's the same game. It's an annual release. All annual releases are the same damn game with minor tweaks and better graphics and gameplay. They don't have time to make a completely different game every year. And besides, there's only so much you can do with a wrestling game.
Sure this year may be very similar to last year, but you go back all these years that it's "the exact same game", umm, WWE '12 is a whole hell of a lot different than the original Smackdown vs. Raw. If you look at all the annual releases, Madden, Fifa, Call of Duty, they're all pretty damn similar every year.
You buy them for the updated graphics, the better gameplay, the updated rosters, storylines, map packs, ect. And it's only $60 a year. That's one damn 8-hour work day working minimum wage. Not exactly a life savings here.
If you're not interested in the new game, that's fine, don't buy it. But if your reasoning for not buying it is because it's the exact same game as last year. Shoot yourself. You're just bitching for the sake of bitching.

Just the fact that I can give Billy Gunn multiple world championship reigns makes this worth buying.

Honestly, I haven't played more than ten minutes of a wrestling game since No Mercy. If they had a kinky mode like GTA did and I could run around slapping my opponents with dildos I would be totally into it, though.

Only 7 Divas again?! I wonder who will make into the game.
I hoping for Rosa and Aksana but I'm not getting my hopes up on that.

Full Roster RevealedThe following superstars and divas are confirmed for the upcoming WWE ’13 video game, in stores October 30th. Several wrestlers are duplicated in both eras and will appear in the game as separate characters:
Modern Era: John Cena, Randy Orton, CM Punk, Undertaker, The Rock, Brock Lesnar, Triple H, Chris Jericho, Dainel Bryan, Cody Rhodes, Sheamus, Wade Barrett, Rey Mysterio, Zack Ryder, Dolph Ziggler, R-Truth, Kofi Kingston, The Miz, Jack Swagger, Santino, David Otunga, Kane, Kevin Nash, Christian, Mark Henry, Sin Cara, Epico, Primo, Hunico, Ted DiBiase, Great Khali, Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal, Justin Gabriel, Eve Torres, Kelly Kelly, Bella Twins, Kharma, Beth Phoenix, Alicia Fox.
Attitude Era: Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Eddie Guerrero, Edge & Christian, New Age Outlaws, Road Warriors, , X-Pac, Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Mankind, Dude Love, Cactus Jack, Trish Stratus, Lita, Big Show, Kane, Davey Boy Smith, Vader, Mark Henry, Ken Shamrock, Godfather and Big Bossman.
WWE ’13 will also feature a special celebrity character – WWE Hall of Famer Mike Tyson. Tyson signing with THQ to appear in the video game appears to be a factor in Tyson’s induction into the 2012 WWE Hall of Fame. Tyson also recently did a rare interview for Paul Heyman’s Heyman Hustle site talking about UFC star Jon Jones’ DUI arrest and it’s believed that interview was set up by THQ. So yeah, that happened. First, I hope this isn't real. It's being called "confirmed" all over the place but THQ ain't said shit. As much as I like that roster, I was hoping for some people that aren't on that list. Yay for Stephanie and Lita tho. And it'll probably be not only blonde Trish, but tube top Trish. One thing that has be calling bs tho, is why the hell Big Show in the Attitude Era and not the Modern Era. And why Triple H, Rock, Undertaker and Christians asses taking up 2 spots? Why can't they ever just be alt attires. They can't be in the same match anyway. I hope this roster is fake, and considering it's barely June, I think it might be.

And you guys need to calm down about the 7 divas. There were only 7 divas last year:
Kelly Kelly Layla Maryse Natalya Eve Michelle McCool Beth Phoenix
Then the DLC came out and almost doubled it with:
Nikki Bella Brie Bella Alicia Fox Trish Stratus Vickie Guerrero Kharma
Pretty sure that was one of the biggest diva rosters in a video game, for a long time at least. So chillax, I'm sure there will be DLC this year too.
