I don't usually bother with pictures, because there's always a big guy in front of me so I left my phone in the car. Of course I get a clear view with a couple rows of kids in front this time. More importantly there were two guys dressed as Ralphus. They were not even together. Tbh one of them might have been Ralphus. I'm happy I dragged along the person I did, because she's hot and we had a group of thirsty guys next to us and ended up with free beer all night. We ended up going to the bar with them later that night and they tried partnering me up with the guy in a Hardy Boyz shirt. Like Roman not being there wasn't a big enough slap in the face.
lol Titus O'Neil vs. Curtis Axel was the first match of the night. So, yeah...
Tony Nese was in a tag match. I hope you're similarly blessed, B.
When it was announced Roman wouldn't be there my friend almost strangled me. I used his pics to lure her in. Since Roman vs. Braun was advertised I'm wondering if Rosey passing had anything to do with him not being there. The match with Show didn't seem like a last minute thing though. People love Braun or Roman not being there I'm not sure which. There were a lot of boos too, but they were drowned out. I kind of love Braun now too though. He's like a bad 80s action movie. His lines are so corny. I'm into it.
Jericho was hugely over, The List of Jericho might have gotten the biggest response out of everything aside from Alexa. The crowd wasn't dead, but aside from Dean there wasn't really any interaction. Yes, that O-H I-O bit is a thing here. It's a compulsion. I even do it when someone yells O-H and I don't know why. Cass and Enzo's spiel of course got a huge reaction. The Hardyz didn't get as big of a reaction as I was expecting and I had a bonding moment with a woman three seats over that yelled "Cut your fucking hair, Matt." I think she might be my soul mate. Big Show was also pretty over. These little kids started a Big Show chant and I'm pretty sure only women and kids joined in. Guys attempted a duel Braun chant that died pretty quick. I was a few beers in by the time the match came and although it was pretty obvious what was coming I was still startled. It was so freaking loud after the ring collapsed. The kids in front of me were losing their minds. It was pretty adorable. I was pleasantly surprised there wasn't a huge "holy shit" chant though people tried. The Yes chant just completely overpowered it. I don't know if they showed it on tv, but when Big Show made his way up he had by far the most support of anyone last night. There was a massive "Thank You, Big Show" chant and it was just a really cool moment. I hope he gets a really good send off when he does retire. I also hope he maintains a presence either on commentary or as a GM or something. He's really fun. Obviously there wasn't an alternative main event.
Brock being champion is so fucking stupid. What's the point? He does nothing. The woman I mentioned before further solidified her place in my heart at the end of the show when she said, "Thank fuck for no Stephanie and Triple two hour promo."

I was really hoping he would have landed an elbow drop or leg drop on Braun. That would have been amazing. Also, is the ref still alive?

I love that you got to be there for the ring collapse, and I got to witness Charlotte versus Sasha's falls account anywhere match. Both iconic moments. Meanwhile, Burke got Noam Dar's debut lol.
