Ugh Skylar Samuels is killing it as the Cuckoos. And I think they're combing Polaris/Lorna with Scarlet Witch because it looked like when she was using her powers there was a bit of red, so maybe they're doing some rip off of House of M. I'm fine with it because idk if this will get a second season, but this is definitely the best comic book show we've got on cable atm.

Ugh the finale though. Lorna taking over the Brotherhood/Hellfire Club with the Frost sisters. And the Struckers being divided. I'm so excited for next season. Honestly I was worried it being like 13 episodes would hurt it, but ultimately it helped keeping the show focused on the story. Lorna bringing down that plane with the Senator and Dr. Campbell was epic. So good.
Also Amy Acker/Caitlyn and Bill Compton/Stephen Moyer. I was worried they'd get annoying and preachy but it was the opposite. I love how much of an asset Caitlyn ended up being. Coming up with plans and strategies on the fly to save everyone and finding escape routes. Then there's Bill Compton/Mr. Anna Paquin himself holding the fort down. I love Lauren too. I hope they let her fight a bit more, she's giving me Claire from Heroes Vibes. I knew Andy would be some sort of misguided villain from the beginning. But it was still sad seeing him leave his family.
I cannot believe how much of a Skyler Samuels stan I am now. Ryan Murphy did her so dirty. |
