At first I was like the gameplay looked clunky for 2017, but then they showed it's a true remaster of the same game with better graphics. I wish more companies would do this. It basically what everyone was asking for with Final Fantasy VII, but they went and fucked that up.

I was laughing at people claiming that this game had been made harder, because I was flying through it like old times when I first picked it up, but holy shit, The High Road is even harder than it used to be. I can barely make it to the first checkpoint without losing almost half my lives.
I'm tempted to live stream my attempts at it, because it needs to be seen.

It really is infuriating. It was such a fun stroll down memory lane but I knew myself enough to just put the controller down once I'd gotten my fill of nostalgia, because otherwise it probably would have been thrown into the TV.
