Vince McMahon talked about the brand extension at today's Fourth Quarter Earnings call and said that the split has been working out extremely well. He explained that there are now crossover viewers to the SmackDown brand and that's something they have been trying to do for awhile now.
Vince also talked about fresh talent being switch from brand to brand, using Roman Reigns potentially jumping ship to SmackDown as an example. Vince mentioned that it's hard to create new stars with just one show and the brand split allows others to climb the ladder of success.
In regards to the next draft, Bryan Alvarez mentioned on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Live that the company is actually planning on having a draft sometime this year. It's believed that the draft will most-likely take place sometime in June, well after WrestleMania and before the next big event, SummerSlam.

Who do you think will be, or want to see, drafted? Raw is in desperate need of main eventers, and with how well they've performed on SmackDown, I can see The Miz and Maryse being traded to Raw and given that opportunity. I also see Alexa being traded to Raw for some reason, idk. |

I'd rather they did it immediately after WM each year.
I think they'll send Roman Reigns to SD to see if he clicks better over there.
I can also see Asuka going to RAW and feuding with Charlotte.

It's only February, so it feels too soon still. Maybe by the time June rolls around we'll be ready for some change. I'm just scared they're going to try and siphon SmackDown of all it's talent, and in the end it won't even make Raw better, just make SmackDown worse.
I wouldn't mind them skipping this year and doing an occasional brand jump like they did with the first brand split when they skipped 2003.

So who do you guys want to see traded in the Superstar Shake-up next week?
I've seen people suggesting that Charlotte will be traded to SmackDown so she can win their Women's Championship while Bayley and Sasha have their slow burn feud over on Raw, lol. But I actually don't think that will happen because despite SmackDown being of better quality and getting higher ratings (?) they still treat Raw as the main show and Charlotte has become one of it's top attractions, male or female.
I could see Dana or Alicia being traded to SmackDown. If nothing else, because they film 205 Live after SmackDown and Alicia is basically a brand-exclusive to that show anyways. And idk why but I still see Alexa going to Raw. And same with The Miz and Maryse, I feel they could finally be a top act on Raw. SmackDown is so overcrowded with top guys. On Raw, I feel they could finally break through that glass ceiling. Also I'm sure they'd like to get away from John Cena, Nikki Bella and Daniel Bryan.
EDIT: Hmm, I've seen more posts elaborating that Charlotte will go to SmackDown because she's already done all the "money" feuds on Raw. I can either see her turning face in a feud with Nia, or being traded for Becky or someone so Raw has another face to team with Bayley when Sasha eventually turns heel. 🤔

Summer Rae for Natalya (Summer needs somewhere she can get tv time, and Natalya has feuded with everyone on SmackDown)

I'm sleep deprived, but I only saw the title and Jay reply with Rollins and I was afraid B was going to murder you for a minute.
Charlotte and Nattie teaming up as an improved version of Legacy and coming for everyone is the only thing I'm really pulling for.
The draft almost always manages to mess up the only feud I'm looking forward to. So, I'm assuming Naomi and Alexa will be on separate brands.
I just need them not to call Gargano (I'm not saying his stupid team name) up to Raw, because then I'll be forced to buy tickets and I have my eyes on new outdoor furniture.

Alexa Bliss/AJ Styles/Luke Harper/Mojo Rawley to RAW.
As I'm done typing this though I realise that SD would be getting the better of things and I don't know if that's ever happened in any draft.

The New Day definitely need to go to SmackDown, I'd love to see them mix it up with The Usos now that they have their new attitude. I'd also like to see a feud (or at least backstage segments) with Slater & Rhyno.

Raw is coming to Greenville next month which is super convenient because I could either go with my brother-in-law or this guy I've been seeing and it'd literally be a 15 minute drive from either of their houses but the thought of going and Charlotte not being there or Raw not getting The Miz and Maryse in the Shake-Up is so agg. I'm picturing sitting there in the crowd and Bayley's music hitting and people jumping up around me in excitement and I don't think I'd be able to restrain myself from whopping anyone within arm's reach. At least I've warmed up to Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss.  |

I'm in the same boat. Except Burke Jr. is dating a weirdo so I can't just go with him this time. Which means dragging with someone who isn't interested. Plus, the matches being advertised are not that appealing. I kind of wish we'd get house shows, because they're usually fun. I think I'll just wait until after the draft and if I'm still interested just grab cheap tickets.
