Holy shit, Naomi is amazing. She deserves to win the title back so bad after that showing. However, they definitely should have kept her return a secret, and having her come out and get the upper hand tonight makes me scared that they're gonna save Asuka as the surprise participant, and if that happens, I'm almost positive she's winning it.
Ugh, they didn't even have to take the title off of her though. Has Alexa even defended it since she won it?

Cena made so many moot points in his promo. For starters, asking The Miz and Maryse how many kids they have since they keep making fun of Nikki. Kids are on The Miz and Maryse's agenda. Not his. And Nikki's own family dragged her up and down the street for staying with him anyways. Secondly, trying to come for Maryse about botox. Maryse isn't the one with a different face than the one she debuted with. And then he said The Miz begged WWE to hire Maryse back so he could be on Total Divas. The Miz used reality TV as a come up yeaarrrrrs ago. Why would he need or want to go back? He's already done that. And furthermore, Nikki only returned to WWE so she could be on that whack ass show that neither he nor Daniel Bryan are above pulling staged stunts for. But the most asinine was definitely trying to clown Maryse for being a valet. I guess, according to Cena, fuck the contributions of Sherri Martel, Miss Elizabeth and Sunny. Someone should pass the memo to Lana and Paul Heyman that they serve no purpose. Like, he really tried to bury her career, when Maryse was wrestling on past WrestleManias while Nikki and Brie were, fuck, idk, skinny dipping with their future stepfather at the hotel later. Also, yikes @ him calling The Miz a pussy in front of all his young fans. The two little boys in the front row were like, uh...
But I'm mostly laughing because Cena really came off like those bitchy husbands on Real Housewives who get involved in their wife's drama. He said more to Maryse tonight than he did to The Miz, and Nikki said nothing because Cena has to fight her battles for her. Which was probably for the best, because when she finally did talk, she served Alberto, talking about "haters" like a teenager. She literally stood there for the entire duration of that promo nodding and touching her hair a thousand times; ironically exactly how Maryse parodied her. And I actually still can't believe, and am disappointed, that she stood there and giggled when he said that she and Brie are sometimes so dumb they do forget who they are. 💀 And then had the nerve to clap proudly when he talked about the Women's Revolution. Nicole, if you don't sit your airhead ass down...
This is a man who believes in gender roles so hard he makes the men go smoke cigars in the billiard room after a formal dinner, and stood there and hurled insults at a woman. Then told her she wouldn't do anything because Nikki was standing there. He tries to make fun of The Miz for hiding behind Maryse, yet that's exactly what Cena did tonight. And he was hiding from Maryse. 💀
I'm not even entertaining the thought that The Miz and Maryse have a shot at winning this Sunday. Cena and Nikki wont be putting them over, even though they're both on their way out, but I will be PERCHED for Maryse to tug on that NECK this Sunday and send Nikki out with a bang.

He's the idiot high school jock who clowns on everyone, but the second he gets called out he tries to pull out his fists cause he's not smart enough to use his words. And he's the fucking good guy, lol. Everything he said tonight was awful, but it's the tactic he has always used his whole career, and the reason I've never liked the man. I didn't give a damn about his wrestling ability, his promos annoyed me. Now his inner jackass is finally shining very bright for all to see. Honestly I wish they had never put Cena and Nikki together on air. He completely ruined her just before she retired. smh |
