 There's going to be a tournament next month to crown the first champion. After that I think they're hoping to get their own show in the UK. WWE already has too much shit. I can barely keep up with RAW and SD as it is. |

As cool as this sounds, and as sweet as that championship looks, it's all pretty stupid in my opinion. The only reason this is being done is because we have three promotions over here blowing up. We have Progress which is almost impossible to see live because their shows sell out almost instantly, WCPW which is a YouTube show that has been around less than a year and are already the biggest in the UK, and of course, ITV recently announced that World of Sport is coming back for a one-off special that if successful will result in a full series, which of course is why WWE are determined to get their claws into the UK indie scene before it's too late, because if ITV do pick it up for a full series, it'll become the most watched wrestling show in the UK overnight.
Still, I'm rooting for Joseph Conners because he's a friend of my best friend, and he deserves it more than any of the others.

I appreciate that they're shoving this whole thing into 2 days instead of stretching it out over 3 months like the CWC. That became a chore. Bout to check it out.
