Me personally? Hell the fuck no. And after working retail on Black Friday for four years in a row, I never will. It was never a big deal for me before that, though. Our parents never drug us out in the mess. Thanksgiving was actually just a family holiday for us.
I remember the first Black Friday I worked we were in there overnight getting ready and we could here the people outside occasionally banging on the doors and pulling on them to see if they were open yet and it was so creepy. Walking Dead teas for real. And then when they finally opened the doors we could here them running in hoards towards the back of the store before we even saw them. And then you just wanna punch the people who offer faux sympathy like, "I can't believe they make you work today." You just wanna be like, BITCH, you're the reason why I'm in here today, fuck you.
Also I can only speak for my store personally, but Black Friday was a total scam and all we did was replace the normal sale stickers with special Black Friday stickers. The prices didn't change at all.
