None of you motherfuckers care about spoilers but I’ll use tags anyway.
There was a big queue outside so I got into the building a little later than I expected. At first I actually thought I had missed the Superstars taping but I hadn’t.
Before the show everyone was doing the New Day chant, wooing and Let’s Go Cena/Cena Sucks. You know what side I was on. They showed a lot of Goldberg/Lesnar videos and everyone would chant for Goldberg.
I fell in love with Jojo tonight. She’s so sweet. She was the first person out and announced that Superstars was about to start.
There was only two matches for Superstars. I was expecting 3 or 4. Neville was the first wrestler out and his pyro almost gave everyone a heart attack. Jesus Christ. He beat Titus O’Neil. Then Bo Dallas beat Darren Young. Glasgow is full of Bolievers! The crowd turned on poor Darren when Bob Backlund didn’t come out with him. We Want Backlund/We Bolieve/Let’s Go Bo chants all match.
The announcers came out and Michael Cole got booed to hell. I had a great view but the announce table was the one thing I couldn’t really see from where I was, not that it really mattered.
RAW started with Stephanie and she got on our good side by doing Mick Foley’s cheap pop thing. Then all the usual suspects came out. Poor Roman Reigns was eviscerated. Although it seemed like fun boos and not angry smark boos if that makes sense. Chris Jericho came out to the biggest reaction of the night. Well I thought at the time it would be. A fight broke out and a fatal 5 way was announced as the main event.
The ring people spent like five minutes changing the ring for the cruiserweight match. It was a tag match and Noam Dar debuted. Everyone went crazy. I’m surprised so many people knew who he was. Hell, I still don’t really have a clue who he is but he was treated like a God tonight. His team lost and everyone was pissed but then he beat up Brian Kendrick after the match. Rich Swann was good. I’ve never paid attention to him on TV.
There was a segment with all the tag-teams and New Day shut that shit down. They came out in kilts. I know I said I was worried about someone doing shit like that but they were the people to pull it off. Big E is my hero. He had an insane motivational speech like William Wallace in Braveheart. This might end up seeming lame as fuck on TV but it was amazing there. Sheamus was funny here too. Then there was a tag match which New Day actually lost, which stunned everyone.
Goldust and R-Truth vs. The Shining Stars was like the one boring moment all night but even this wasn’t that bad thanks to Goldust and Truth’s entrance. Someone shouted go back to Superstars during the match and I felt a little bad for them all.
Michael Cole introduced the RAW women’s team for Survivor Series. It was Charlotte, Nia, Bayley, Alicia and Sasha. Dana came out at first but then was told she wasn’t on the team. Sasha got a huge reaction but nothing compared to Bayley. We were singing that Hey Bayley song for AGES. It felt like 5-10 minutes. They might need to edit this. Bayley and Charlotte couldn’t get through their promos with all the noise. Charlotte’s reactions were hilarious.
Then there was a 6 women’s tag. The Bayley chants continued all through this match. She won by pinning Charlotte.
Lana got huge cheers then boos when she called us Americans. Sami Zayn beat Rusev. Sami Zayn’s Ole thing was another thing people were doing a lot.
The main event was the best actual match on the show. It was awesome. I didn’t realise at first that it was no DQ until Seth Rollins got a kendo stick and started hitting someone. Reigns and Rollins were gonna do the Shield powerbomb thing to Braun Strowman through a table and everyone went crazy. Jericho or Owens broke it up though. Rollins ended up powerbombing Jericho through it later. Roman was booed loudly again here other than the Shield spot. He ended up punching Jericho and Owens fell on top of Jericho and got the 3 count.
The show ended here and a lot of the production people around ringside scurried away like rats. Seriously they were so fast. There was a Rollins/Owens title match after the main show. Jericho interfered and after that there was like a 30 minute segment with Jericho/Owens/Rollins/Enzo & Cass. At one point Jericho copied Enzo & Cass’ catchphrases. He was hilarious and was probably the star of the show. He wouldn't put us on the list because he knew we wanted it so he ripped the list up and threw it away, saying we were all stupid idiots for thinking we had a chance of getting on the list.
My seats were right next to the camera guys up near the top. There was kids behind me and at one point I heard of them saying “can you show me on TV? It’s been my dream since I was a kid to be on TV.” I’m sitting there like bitch, you’re like six. You’re still a kid.
I was worried there were going to be a lot of annoying fans but there wasn’t at all. There was one guy near me who tried to chant CM Punk during the women’s match but no one joined in and he shut up.
The most popular people were Bayley, Jericho, New Day, Enzo/Cass, Sasha, Rollins, Owens, Sami Zayn, Cesaro and somehow Noam Dar. The biggest boos were for Roman, Charlotte, Sheamus and Michael Cole.
It’s probably a run of the mill show but it was great live.
