I get the idea behind it looking like the WWE Championship, it's to show that men and women are equals, but unless the WWE Women's Championship is going to main event PPVs, then it's all for nothing.

If Roman turns heel then the Usos should too and form a stable because they are awful right now. Naomi/Tamina/Nia Jax could be in it too.

I agree that they need to make an active and full effort in making it happen beyond names and semantics, but I think moving away from the Diva name and the ultra girliness is massive when you consider the limitations and sexism the last generation had to deal with. Storyline and character wise there's work to be done, but that's the case roster wide. When you consider where we've been, the difference in perception and presentation of women really is startling. |
