- Backroad Anthem singer Craig Strickland and friend vanish after tweeting about a trip into "Winter Storm Goliath."Search crews in Oklahoma are trying to locate a country music singer and his friend who disappeared hours after an ominous tweet was posted to Twitter.
"In case we don't come back, @backroadcraig and I are going right through Winter Storm Goliath to kill ducks in Oklahoma," Chase Morland tweeted just before midnight Saturday.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Morland and his good friend, Craig Strickland, were last seen roughly two hours later, when they left for a hunting trip north of Tulsa, in Kay County.
Source The friend's body was found, but the singer is still missing. I swear I am NOT trying to be funny or insensitive, but they ignore weather signs to go hunt animals, and then nature ends up killing them. It's just... such a turn of events.

This reminds me of a couple of weeks ago when this guy I work with was trying to impress me by telling me the most 'badass' thing he's ever done was snap an injured duck that he shot's neck and I was just like... There's like five things wrong with what you just said?? I don't know, I just don't understand hunting. There are plenty of already-dead animals at your local grocery store.

I'm just really bothered that they took the dog with them. I mean, sure risk your own lives, but leave the dog home. At least the dog survived.
I couldn't hunt, but it doesn't bother me as long as they're actually hunting for food. Not those idiots that try to kill deer and then donate the meat and then get pissed off because food banks refuse it. Yeah, assholes, they're refusing meat that could be tainted. No shit. Hunting for sport is so creepy. Like, I'm bored, so let's just go kill some animals. Fishing too. Just catching fish and tossing them back. I'd nut punch someone if they tried hooking me and removing it like it was all cool.

At least the dog survived. I didn't even know they took a dog with them, but oh good.

tbh I was so disappointed when I read that Chris Pratt hunts for sport, but I never posted about it because I try to make my fave's indiscretions disappear.

I saw that and had an "Aww, but I like him" moment. I'm becoming okay with hypocrisy, honestly. Like I pretend James Franco doesn't do any of that pretentious annoying stuff he does.
