I don't understand how she's getting worse. It's annoying because she could be really good if she put any effort in. I'm ready for her to just manage Braun for awhile.

Kristal on Lita and Melina audioboom.com/posts/6857997-badassery-benoit-and-brooke-s-assThere's a transcript out there which is nice to read. It leaves out this part though. They talk about Melina being in court, with Benoit, Booker and Undertsker leading the onslaught against her and Booker tearing her to shreds. The host clarifies that the whole issue at hand was that Melina was exceptionally shy and was taking part in a bikini contest that night in Australia. She had body issues and had anxiety, so asked Benoit if he could lend her a drink to calm her nerves. The thing turned into an ordeal where she was yelled at for not doing her job. Harassment? Bullying? Stay classy WWE 2006. Bearing in mind that Melina has been upfront about sexual harassment and rape she's suffered, so imagine the crime of having insecurities over showing her body to a crowd.

Being on SD during that era sounded like hell if they didn't like you. There's a bunch of stories about JBL, Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero bullying newer people. Was Hardcore Holly on SD too? I forget.

A lot of WWE stars did a press conference yesterday, and at one point when Charlotte was speaking she said that wrestling is a male-dominated world and Stephanie interrupted to correct her that it used to be, but that’s no longer the case. This bitch is so out of touch, someone might want to show her what the women (other than her and Ronda) make in comparison to the men.
They said she was also visibly shook when someone asked her if we’d ever have a black WWE Champion. 💀

There’s a rumor going around that Alexa is sleeping with somebody in power backstage and all of the other women, including Naomi, unfollowed her, Nia deleted all their pics together, and she liked a tweet about the rumor.

It's SO weird how they ignore 2007-2010. Mickie, Melina, Candice, Beth and Victoria put on much better matches than anything between 2010 and the Women's Revolution.

I bought the Women's Evolution DVD yesterday, and it's actually pretty frustrating to watch. Obviously we all complained about the omission of certain time periods, but when you're watching it, it's so glaring when it skips from Alundra Blayze in 1995, to Ivory in 2001. Skipping Chyna, Sable and Jacqueline, who first of all, were way more important to the growth of women's roles in WWE at the time than Ivory. And we already discussed it, but why is Ivory's showcase match her being squashed by Chyna? They're obviously not shying away from Chyna and pretending she doesn't exist, so why not just showcase her? And the match selection is so weird. In some instances, they use the biggest match a particular woman ever had. WrestleMania 22 for Mickie, the main event of Raw for Trish, but then for Victoria, they use a random match against Trish from Raw. Of all their great matches together, they used one I didn't even remember lol. So yeah, they skip right over the Attitude Era, even though there are several legitimate match choices for all three of those women mentioned, but then they do the same thing by skipping from Mickie vs. Trish to AJ vs. Kaitlyn. That one really left me conflicted. How do you skip over Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix and Melina? And then AJ's intro made my blood pressure rise because she humble bragged about singlehandedly ending the era were the women were just pretty faces. And by the end of the first disc, we're already into the NXT era with Emma vs. Paige. Also, I was hoping that there would be more retrospectives from the women between matches. For example, before a Trish showcase, I was hoping they'd have the other women talking about her and what she brought to the table for the women as a whole, and then do that for every showcase. Instead, before Trish's match, it's her quickly talking about how she wrestled Lita in the main event, and then going straight into that match lol. I feel like this is totally a DVD for the fans who never liked the women much before and only recently bought into the hype that they're legitimate competitors (Burke...), and not for the real fans who've been watching them for years, through the good and the bad, and remember the good that shined through the bad.
It was obviously a very half assed DVD, from the match selection to the interviews, so just save yourself $20 and watch the Women's Revolution collection on the Network. It has better matches anyway.
