Starring Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence; aka one of the only movies Burke and I will ever agree upon. Synopsis: A spacecraft travelling to a distant colony planet and transporting thousands of people has a malfunction in one of its sleep chambers. As a result, a single passenger is awakened 60 years early. Faced with the prospect of growing old and dying alone, he eventually decides to wake up a second passenger. Jen recently talked about the film at Comic Con: When this project was brought to me it was huge, and I just kind of read it more as a favour for my agent and then I just couldn't put it down. I just loved it, it's so intimate and artistic and beautiful and as soon as I heard about Chris Pratt, I was so excited. I'm dying to work with him. Chris is finally gunning for that Oscar.

Thank God she's doing a movie with someone other than Bradley Cooper. I loved the first couple but the latest ones with them sound really boring.

- Chris Pratt Serves Prosthetic Beard
Chris Pratt sports a big bushy beard on the set of his new movie Passengers on Monday (September 28) in Atlanta, Ga.
It seems like the 36-year-old actor’s new look is fake as he was seen just last week looking very clean shaven!
PHOTOS: Check out the latest pics of Chris Pratt
Chris is co-starring in the film alongside Oscar winning actress Jennifer Lawrence, who was sporting a bleach blonde look on set last week. Check out the pics if you missed them!
Passengers is set to be released on December 21, 2016!

This movie sounds similar to Interstellar.

This movie sounds similar to Interstellar. Literally the only thing they have in common is being set in space, so by that logic I guess it sounds similar to Star Trek. I know! Why don't you go volunteer to be a test dummy for NASA and be rocketed off into space so you can take notes and really compare the two? I'm sure they have a WiFi hotspot in the vacuum so you can keep us posted.

It sounds like space is just a backdrop though and the real story is about the profound complexity of human relationships, like it was in Interstellar (and Gravity).
Have I used enough big words to make it sound like I know what I'm talking about yet?

That bar looks so much like the one from The Shining.

- Jennifer Lawrence Shades the X-Men Franchise, Would Rather Play Mystique Again in Guardians of the Galaxy
Jennifer Lawrence wants in on the "Guardians of the Galaxy" franchise, according to an interview with MTV she that did during a junket with her "Passengers" co-star Chris Pratt.
"I would love to," Lawrence said when asked about appearing in the "Guardians" universe. "I would choose that over doing another 'X-Men' movie maybe," she laughed.
"I won't be Mystique in the 'X-Men' movies, but I would love to be Mystique in 'Guardians of the Galaxy.' I wonder if I could do that," she said.
Pratt smiled at the camera and joked, "It just happened." He said, shaking her hand. "This is a binding legal contract."
Lawrence has been wishy-washy about her future with the "X-Men" franchise. When asked about shooting "X-Men: Apocalypse" in a 2015 interview, Lawrence said it would be her "last one." Then, almost exactly a year later she told reporters that she was "dying to come back."
The chances of her jokey response coming true are slim to none considering the "Guardians" sequel is in post production and set to hit theaters on May 5, 2017. Pratt and Lawrence, meanwhile are getting ready to launch their sci-fi film, which opens Dec. 21.
At the film's L.A. premiere, Lawrence told Variety, "This is kind of a huge step for me, sort of like graduating from 'The Hunger Games' and 'X-Men.'"
"It's scary to make that first step but I have faith in this material," she said. "I'm not nervous and that's a very strong indicator."

She doessn't even know how the MCU works. I hate when people start thinking they're too good for the franchise that made them. Especially since she's already reached her peak and her star is on the decline now. Graduation? Girl, you've already won an Oscar. How much higher do you think there is to go? And what goes up...
